Իրանն արդեն բացահայտ է հայտարարում «Թրամփի ուղու» և Վաշինգտոնում ստորագրված պայմանավորվածությունների վերաբերյալ իր դժգոհությունները։ Հիշեցնենք՝ օգոստոսի 8-ին հռչակագրի ստորագրումից հետո Հայաստանի իշխանությունները հայտարարեցին, թե փարատել են Իրանի իշխանությունների մտահոգությունները։ Նույնիսկ փոխարտգործնախարարի էին ուղարկել Իրան, ինչպես նաև ընդունել Իրանի նախագահին Երևանում։

Թեպետ այն ժամանակ Իրանի դժգոհություններն այնքան բացահայտ չէին, բայց նախօրեին Հայաստանից հեռացող Իրանի դեսպան Մեհդի Սոբհանին, ով նախկինում այլ բան էր հայտարարում, պարզապես հայտարարել է, թե այժմ Թեհրանի համար կան դեռ անհասկանալի պահեր։ «Խոսքն այն մասին է, թե ինչ լիազորություններ է ունենալու հայ-ամերիկյան համատեղ կոնսորցիումը։ Անհասկանալի են ճանապարհի օպերատորի կողմից իրականացվող գործողությունները, մանրամասները հստակ չեն։ Խոսքն այն քննարկումների մասին է, որի արդյունքում պետք է համատեղ ընկերություն ստեղծվի, որը միևնույն ժամանակ ներգրավելու է ներդրումներ։ Այս մասին որևէ մանրամասն հստակ չէ»,- ասել է Սոբհանին մամուլի ասուլիսում։

Պնդելով, որ Իրանը ունի կարմիր գծեր այս առնչությամբ, հայտարարել է, որ պետք է պահպանվի փոխադարձության սկզբունքը, եթե, օրինակ, Նախիջևանը Հայաստանի տարածքով կարող է կապ հաստատել Ադրբեջանի հետ, ապա փոխադարձաբար Երևանը Երասխի և Ջուլֆայի միջոցով պետք է կարողանա կապ հաստատել Իրանի հետ։

Թերևս, առաջին անգամն է, որ Իրանն այսպես բացահայտ հայտարարում է, որ անհասկանալի պահեր կան կապված «Թրամփի ուղու» հետ, և սա պետք է լրջորեն մտահոգի Հայաստանի իշխանություններին, թեպետ իշխանությունները ամենևին էլ հակված չեն այս հարցում կատարել Իրանի պահանջները, հայտարարում են, որ Հայաստանն ունի իր սեփական շահերը և իրենք առաջնորդվելու են այդ շահերով։ Այդուհանդերձ, հարավային հզոր հարևանի շահերը հաշվի չառնելը կարող է ծանր հետևանքներ ունենալ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար։
