Միացյալ Նահանգները պատրաստ է աջակցել Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև երկարատև խաղաղության հաստատմանը: Դրա մասին իր ողջույնի խոսքում նշել է Բաքվում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատան փոխդեսպան Էմի Քառլոնը։
Նա ընդգծել է, որ Միացյալ Նահանգներն ու Ադրբեջանը ավելի քան 30 տարի պահպանել են գործընկերությունը։ «Միասին պայքարել ենք ահաբեկչության դեմ, ամրապնդել ենք էներգետիկ անվտանգությունը և ստեղծել բարգավաճում մեր երկրների համար։ Ինձ համար պատիվ է այստեղ լինել Միացյալ Նահանգների և Ադրբեջանի համար այս հիրավի պատմական պահին։
Օգոստոսի 8-ին Սպիտակ տանը խաղաղության համաձայնագրի նախաստորագրումը նոր գլուխ բացեց Հարավային Կովկասի համար։ Միացյալ Նահանգները պատրաստ է օգնել Ադրբեջանին և Հայաստանին երկարատև խաղաղություն կառուցելու գործում։ Այդ ուղին ամրապնդելով՝ մենք բացահայտում ենք տարածաշրջանի հսկայական ներուժը որպես առևտրի, տարանցման և էներգետիկայի կենտրոն, որը կլինի ապագա տնտեսական համագործակցության բանալին»,- նշել է Քառլոնը։
