Ուկրաինայի առաջին տիկին Ելենա Զելենսկան հանդիպել է ԱՄՆ առաջին տիկին Մելանյա Թրամփի հետ։ Քննարկման հիմնական թեման ուկրաինացի երեխաների պաշտպանությունն էր, ըստ ՌԲԿ-Ուկրաինայի՝ Ուկրաինայի առաջին տիկինը Telegram-ում ասել է։

Զելենսկայի խոսքով՝ ինքը և Մելանյա Թրամփը քննարկել են ընդհանուր արժեքներ, առաջին հերթին՝ երեխաների և նրանց մանկության պաշտպանությունը։

«Ես շնորհակալություն եմ հայտնել տիկին Մելանիային Ուկրաինային ցուցաբերած աջակցության համար, հատկապես այն երեխաների նկատմամբ ուշադրության համար, ովքեր զոհ են դարձել Ռուսաստանի կողմից Ուկրաինայի դեմ դաժան պատերազմին։ Մասնավորապես՝ Պուտինին ուղղված երեխաների համար խաղաղության կոչ անող նամակի համար», - նշել է Ուկրաինայի առաջին տիկինը։

Նա հավելել է, որ մեծապես գնահատում է «ԱՄՆ առաջին տիկնոջ բացությունը աշխարհի երեխաների բարեկեցության նկատմամբ»։

Զելենսկան ընդգծել է իր շարունակական հավատը մեղմ ուժի արդյունավետությանը՝ մարդկայնության, կարեկցանքի և իրականությունը դեպի լավը փոխելու ունակության նկատմամբ։

Առաջին տիկինը վստահություն է հայտնել, որ համատեղ ջանքերով հնարավոր կլինի օգնել բոլոր կարիքավոր երեխաներին։

Զելենսկայան նաև հավելել է, որ հույս ունի Թրամփի հետ հետագա համագործակցության՝ երեխաներին պաշտպանելու համար։
