Հայաստանի առաջին նախագահ Լևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանը երեկ ակամայից խախտել է իր լռությունը՝ հրապարակային խոսք ասելով։ Նշենք, որ վերջին ամիսներին առաջին նախագահը բացառապես կարճ հոդվածներով և ակնարկներով է հանդես գալիս՝ խստորեն քննադատելով Փաշինյանի իշխանությանը։ Գործող իշխանություններն էլ, ուրանալով սեփական անցյալը, հարձակվում են առաջին նախագահի դեմ՝ հնարավոր և անհնար բոլոր մեղքերի մեջ մեղադրելով, վիրավորանքներ հասցնելով Լևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանին։ Ինքը՝ Փաշինյանն էլ վերջին օրերին բավականին կոշտ հայտարարություններ է արել առաջին նախագահի հասցեին՝ ընդհուպ մեղադրելով Ադրբեջանի տարածքը օկուպացնելու մեջ։

Տեր-Պետրոսյանը, ի տարբերություն իր չափը չիմացող Փաշինյանի, բավական զուսպ է եղել։ Նա միայն հայտարարել է, թե ղարաբաղյան իր քաղաքականությունը ոչ մի կապ չունի Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի քաղաքականության հետ։ Լրագրողներից մեկի դիտարկմանը, թե տեսակետ է հնչում, որ Արցախի հարցի վերաբերյալ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն առաջ է տարել հենց Տեր-Պետրոսյանի թեզերը՝ փոխզիջումներով հասնել կոնֆլիկտի հանգուցալուծմանը, առաջին նախագահն արձագանքել է. «Այդ թեզերը նա կործանեց՝ Ստեփանակերտում հայտարարելով, որ «Արցախը Հայաստան է և վերջ» ու պատերազմ բերեց»։

Իսկ իր հետ բանավիճելու Փաշինյանի առաջարկին Տեր-Պետրոսյանը պատասխանել է՝ վերջինիս հորդորելով հրապարակել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի մասին բոլոր փաստաթղթերը։ «Թող հրապարակի Ղարաբաղի մասին բոլոր փաստաթղթերը, որոնք իր ձեռքի տակ են, այդ մասին հարյուր անգամ ասել եմ։ Եթե հրապարակի, վեճն արդեն վերջացած կլինի. ամեն ինչ այնտեղ ասված է»,– ասել է առաջին նախագահը։
