ԱՄՆ գաղտնի ծառայությունը Նյու Յորքում ապամոնտաժել է բջջային հեռախոսացանցն անջատելու համար նախատեսված սարքերի ցանցը

ԱՄՆ գաղտնի ծառայության գործակալները ապամոնտաժել են Նյու Յորքի մի քանի վայրերում տեղակայված էլեկտրոնային սարքերի ցանցը, որը կարող էր օգտագործվել քաղաքի բջջային հեռախոսային ցանցն անջատելու համար, հաղորդում է NBC News-ը։
Ինչպես հայտարարել են պաշտոնատար անձինք՝ համակարգը միաժամանակ օգտագործվել է բարձրաստիճան ամերիկացի պաշտոնյաների դեմ անանուն մահվան սպառնալիքներ ուղարկելու և հանցավոր գործունեության համար։
Ըստ նրանց՝ գաղտնի ծառայության գործակալները Նյու Յորք քաղաքից 35 մղոն շառավղով հինգ վայրերում հայտնաբերել են ավելի քան 300 համատեղ տեղակայված SIM քարտերի սերվերներ և 100 հազար SIM քարտ։
Գաղտնի ծառայության գործակալները նշել են, որ համակարգը կարող է միաժամանակ օգտագործվել հանցավոր գործունեության համար, և որ այդ վայրերում հայտնաբերվել են նաև 80 գրամ կոկաին, անօրինական հրազեն, համակարգիչներ և բջջային հեռախոսներ։
«Այդ սարքերը հնարավորություն են տվել անանուն, կոդավորված հաղորդակցություն ունենալ պոտենցիալ սպառնալիք ներկայացնող անձանց և հանցավոր կազմակերպությունների միջև՝ հանցավոր կազմակերպություններին հնարավորություն ընձեռելով գործել աննկատ»,- ասել է գաղտնի ծառայության Նյու Յորքի գրասենյակի ղեկավար Մեթ ՄըքՔուլը։ «Այդ ցանցն ուներ բջջային հեռախոսակապի աշտարակները անջատելու և, ըստ էության, Նյու Յորքում բջջային ցանցն անջատելու ներուժ»։ ՄըքՔուլը հավելել է, որ պաշտոնյաները հետաքննում են՝ արդյոք ցանցը ստեղծած անձինք նախատեսե՞լ էին այն օգտագործել ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեան խափանելու համար, որը տեղի է ունենում այս շաբաթ Նյու Յորքում։
