Սյունիքի մարզպետ Ռոբերտ Ղուկասյանն այսօր ընդունել է ՀՀ-ում Կանադայի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Էնդրյու Թըրներին։ Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է Սյունիքի մարզպետի աշխատակազմը:
Ամփոփելով ՀՀ-ում նոր դիվանագիտական այս առաքելության երկամյա գործունեությունը՝ դեսպանը տեղեկացրել է արված աշխատանքների ու հատկապես Սյունիքում իրենց աջակցությամբ իրագործված ծրագրերի մասին։
Ռոբերտ Ղուկասյանը ողջունել է Էնդրյու Թըրների հերթական այցը Սյունիք և խոսելով մարզի տնտեսական ներուժի մասին՝ ներկայացրել պետական միջոցներով, տեղական ու միջազգային կազմակերպությունների ներդրումներով մարզի ենթակառուցվածքներում իրականացվող զարգացման մեծածավալ աշխատանքները։
Մարզպետը նաև շեշտել է, որ Սյունիքում կցանկանար հատկապես ներդրված տեսնել գյուղատնտեսության ոլորտում կանադական ուսանելի փորձը։
Բարձրաստիճան դիվանագետը տեղեկացրել է, որ այս այցի ընթացքում ծրագրում է ավելի շատ ժամանակ տրամադրել մարզի պատմամշակութային կոթողներին ծանոթանալուն։ Նա հավելել է, որ հայ-կանադական հարաբերություններում կարևորում է Սյունիքի մարզի հետ համագործակցությունը։
Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել է տարածաշրջանում կայուն խաղաղության հաստատման գործընթացը ևս, ու դեսպանը նշել է, որ Կանադան ողջունում և խրախուսում է այդ գործընթացը։
