Arman Vardanyan, the leader of the "Unity" movement, published a photo on his Facebook page with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mehdi Sobhani and wrote:

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your warm friendship toward the Armenian people, your deep knowledge of the region and of Armenia-Iran relations, as well as your significant contribution to strengthening the ties between our two countries.
