Օրերս ադրբեջանական պետական աղբյուրները հայտնեցին, թե Ստեփանակերտում ձերբակալել են Կարեն Ավանեսյան անունով հայ տղամարդու, որն իբր փորձել է դիվերսիա իրականացնել, երբ Իլհամ Ալիևը օկուպացված Ստեփանակերտում բացում էր համալսարանի նոր մասնաշենքը։ Նույնիսկ տեսանյութ էին տարածել, թե ինչպես է Ավանեսյանը քայլում՝ ուսապարկը ձեռքին, ապա հայտարարել, թե նա կրակոցներ է արձակել ոստիկանության հետ դիմադրության ժամանակ, վիրավորվել և ձերբակալվել։

Ակնհայտ էր, որ Ադրբեջանը ինչ-որ նոր բեմադրություն է փորձում կազմակերպել Հայաստանի դեմ՝ օգտագործելով Արցախի հայաթափումից հետո Ստեփանակերտում մնացած հատուկենտ հայերից մեկին, ով, ի դեպ, հոգեկան խնդիրներ ունի։

Երեկ էլ ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները հայտարարել են Շուշիում զինամթերքի մեծ խմբաքանակի հայտնաբերման մասին։ Հայտարարության համաձայն՝ Շուշիի շրջանի Հին Շեն գյուղում մեծ քանակությամբ զենք ու զինամթերք է հայտնաբերվել ու առգրավվել։ Տարածվող տեսանյութերում երևում են ինքնաձիգեր, ատրճանակներ, շարժական ռադիոկայաններ, սաղավարտներ և «ԱԱԾ» հայատառ գրությամբ զրահաբաճկոններ։ Ակնհայտորեն սա նախօրեին տեղի ունեցած բեմադրության շարունակությունն է։

Թե որն է Ադրբեջանի դրդապատճառը կրկին սրելու իրավիճակը և փորձելու լարվածություն առաջացնել՝ պարզ չէ։ Փաստն այն է, որ Ադրբեջանն այսպիսի գործողություններով ինչ-որ բան է նախապատրաստում, հատկապես օգոստոսի 8-ի հռչակագրից և համաձայնագրի նախաստորագրումից հետո։
