Եգիպտոսը նվազեցրել է Իսրայելի հետ անվտանգության և դիվանագիտական ոլորտներում համագործակցության մակարդակը՝ ի պատասխան երեքշաբթի օրը Դոհայում իրականացված հարվածի, որն ուղղված էր ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի բարձրաստիճան ղեկավարների նստավայրին, հայտնում է Iran Press-ը՝ հղում անելով տարածաշրջանային լրատվամիջոցներին։

Այս քայլը ընդգծում է Կահիրեի և Թել Ավիվի միջև աճող լարվածությունը այն պահին, երբ Եգիպտոսի միջնորդական դերակատարումը համարվում է վճռորոշ՝ Գազայում հրադադարի հասնելու ջանքերում։

Միաժամանակ, սա կարող է ազդարարել տարածաշրջանային հարաբերությունների վերաձևում, քանի որ Եգիպտոսը զգուշացնում է Իսրայելին՝ չտարածել ռազմական գործողությունները արաբական պետությունների տարածք։

Կահիրեի համերաշխությունը Քաթարի հետ կարող է վերաձևել արաբական երկրների համագործակցությունը՝ իսրայելական ագրեսիայի դեմ պայքարում, ինչը կարող է խորացնել լարվածությունը ԱՄՆ-ի աջակցությամբ ընթացող բանակցություններում։

Եգիպտոսի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Բադր Աբդել Աթին Դոհայում հաստատել է «Եգիպտոսի լիակատար համերաշխությունը Քաթարի հետ» և քննարկել է Իսրայելի կողմից սրացման դեմ ուղղված համատեղ քայլերը։
