Ֆրանսիացի մեծ չափսի մոդել Հարմոնի Ալբերտինին ստորագրահավաք է սկսել՝ քրեական օրենսգրքում «ճարպային ֆոբիա» ավելացնելու համար, այն բանից հետո, երբ Մոնպելյեի հացաբուլկեղենի խանութում իրեն հրապարակայնորեն վիրավորել են քաշի համար։
«Արդյոք ճարպային ֆոբիան երբևէ պատժվելո՞ւ է օրենքով»,-հարցրել է Ալբերտինին Jam Press-ին տված հարցազրույցում՝ խոսելով իր արշավի մասին։ Նա ստորագրահավաքը տեղադրել է իր էջում և այն գովազդել է մի քանի տեսանյութերի միջոցով։
Մոդելի նախաձեռնությունը ծնվել է այն բանից հետո, երբ նա գնացել է հացաբուլկեղենի խանութ՝ իր զուգընկերոջ կողմից առցանց պատվիրված ծննդյան տորթը վերցնելու։ Սկզբում Ալբերտինին հիացած էր և նույնիսկ տեսանյութ էր հրապարակել հացթուխներին գովաբանելու համար։
Սակայն նրա ուրախությունը արագորեն վերածվել է զայրույթի, երբ նրան ուղարկել են տորթի պատրաստման տեսանյութը, որում նա կարող էր լսել «ցնցող, ճարպային ֆոբիա, կանանց նկատմամբ ատելություն և անկեղծորեն դաժան դիտողություններ»։
Զույգը, որը հացաբուլկեղենի խանութ ունի, իբր Ալբերտինիին անվանել է «գեր կարտոֆիլ» և մտածել, թե արդյոք նա «կպայթի հաջորդ օրը»՝ նկատի ունենալով նրա քաշը։ «Չե՞ս ամաչում տորթ ուտելուց, երբ կշռում ես մեկ տոննա»,-ասվում էր տեսանյութում։
Մոդելի՝ ոստիկանություն բողոք ներկայացնելու փորձը անհաջող էր. ոստիկանները նշել են, որ տեսանյութը ուղղակիորեն իրեն ուղղված չէր, և անհնար է միջամտել։
Ի պատասխան՝ նա միջնորդագիր է ստեղծել՝ քաշի վրա հիմնված ծաղրը հանցագործություն համարելու համար։ Նրա առաջարկության համաձայն՝ «ճարպային ֆոբիան» պետք է Քրեական օրենսգրքում ներառվի որպես խտրականության չափանիշ՝ սեքսիզմի, ռասիզմի, հոմոֆոբիայի և այլ ձևերի հետ միասին։
Փաստաթուղթը ճարպային ֆոբիան սահմանում է որպես ցանկացած «դիտողություն, վարքագիծ, անբարենպաստ վերաբերմունք կամ հրահրում», որը կապված է անձի քաշի, մարմնի տեսակի կամ արտաքին տեսքի հետ։
Հրապարակման պահին միջնորդագիրը ստորագրել էր 13,347 մարդ՝ անհրաժեշտ 100,000-ից։
«Մենք կարող է չստանանք 100,000 ստորագրություն։ Հնարավոր է՝ նույնիսկ դա բավարար չլինի որևէ բան փոխելու համար։ Բայց յուրաքանչյուր փորձ՝ անհատական կամ կոլեկտիվ, մեր արժանապատվությունն ու ազատությունը վերականգնելու գործողություն է»,-նշում է Ալբերտինին։
