«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

iz.ru–ն «Ի՞նչ սպասել Հայաստանի և Թուրքիայի սահմանին բանակցություններից» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ Հայաստանի ու Թուրքիայի կառավարական պատվիրակությունների առաջին հանդիպումը կկայանա սահմանին (արդեն կայացել է-«Փաստ»): Օրակարգում են դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատումը և սահմանի բացումը: Երևանը հույս ունի, որ Անկարայի հետ փոխգործակցությունը կշարունակվի, ինչը թույլ կտա դուրս գալ տարածաշրջանային մեկուսացումից: Այս տարվա օգոստոսին երկու հարցում էլ առաջընթաց է գրանցվել: Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի առաջնորդները Վաշինգտոնում կայացած հանդիպման ժամանակ նախաստորագրել են խաղաղության պայմանագրի տեքստը, Երևանը նաև պարտավորվել է համագործակցել Միացյալ Նահանգների և այլ երկրների հետ՝ «Թրամփի երթուղի՝ միջազգային խաղաղության և բարգավաճման համար» տրանսպորտային նախագիծն իրականացնելու համար: Թվում էր, թե այժմ կարելի էր առաջընթաց ակնկալել, բայց Վաշինգտոնում կայացած հանդիպումից հետո նոր անհամաձայնություններ են առաջացել: Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի ներկայացուցիչները շարունակում են օգտագործել «Զանգեզուրի միջանցք» տերմինը: Սա դուր չի գալիս Փաշինյանի թիմի ներկայացուցիչներին, որոնք ասում են, որ իրենք համաձայնել են միայն «Թրամփի ճանապարհի» կառուցմանը, որը պետք է ստեղծվի տարածաշրջանում հաղորդակցությունների ընդհանուր ապաշրջափակման հետ մեկտեղ:

ԻՄԵՄՕ ՌԱՍ-ի հետխորհրդային հետազոտությունների կենտրոնի Կովկասի հատվածի գլխավոր հետազոտող Ալեքսանդր Կռիլովը կարծում է, որ ներկայիս բանակցությունների ընթացքում առաջընթաց չի լինի։ «Թուրքիան աջակցում է Ադրբեջանին Հայաստանի հետ առճակատման հարցում։ Անկարան բացահայտ ասում է, որ հարաբերությունների կարգավորում չի լինի, մինչև Երևանն ու Բաքուն չկարգավորեն իրենց հարաբերությունները և չստորագրեն խաղաղության պայմանագիր։ Դրա համար Հայաստանը պետք է իրականացնի սահմանադրական բարեփոխումներ, որոնք, ըստ երևույթին, տեղի չեն ունենա մինչև 2027 թվականը։ Հետևաբար, այժմ հնարավոր են միայն որոշ կոսմետիկ լուծումներ, բայց ոչ ավելին»,– բացատրել է նա։

Հայ քաղաքագետ Հրանտ Միքայել յանը նույնպես կարծում է, որ առաջընթացը քիչ հավանական է։ «Կարծում եմ, որ ներկայիս հանդիպման ընթացքում հնարավոր են որոշ միջանկյալ լուծումներ։ Օրինակ՝ նրանք կարող են բացել սահմանը երրորդ երկրների քաղաքացիների համար՝ փորձնական ռեժիմով։ Հակառակ դեպքում, Թուրքիան հարցեր կբարձրացնի Ադրբեջանի հետ խաղաղության պայմանագիր կնքելու, ինչպես նաև միջանցքի գործունեության և ձևաչափերի վերաբերյալ։ Վաշինգտոնյան հանդիպումը, իհարկե, մոտեցրեց դիրքորոշումները, բայց օրակարգի բոլոր կետերի վերաբերյալ որևէ հիմնարար որոշում չի կայացվել»,– նշել է նա։
