Ինձ վերաբերող հարցով ես որևէ մտավախություն չունեմ, ես միշտ վախեցել եմ, հիմա էլ եմ վախենում այս կապիտուլյանտ պոպոլիստների հակահայկական քաղաքականությունից, որ դեռևս շատ-շատ բարդություններ է բերելու մեր ժողովրդին: Այս մասին դատական նիստից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց ՀՀ երրորդ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը՝ պատասխանելով հարցին արդյոք մտավախություն չունի, որ Ադրբեջանի պահանջով իրեն կհանձնեն Ադրբեջանին:

«Եթե մի քիչ էլ խորանանաք դատաղությունների մեջ, ապա եթե հայ ժողովուրդը կհանդուրժի, որ երկրի կառավարիչը, խախտելով Սահմանադրությունը ՀՀ քաղաքացիներից՝ անկախ նրանից ես եմ այդ քաղաքացին, Պողոսն է, թե Պետրոսը կհանձնի այլ երկրի միայն ու միայն այն պատճառով որ այդ քաղաքացին կատարել է ՀՀ օրենքները, Սահմանադրության պահանջները, որը գնահատվել է հակառակ երկրի կողմից որպես հանցագործություն, այդ դեպքում էլ ինչ կարող եմ ասել»,- ասաց երկրորդ նախագահը:

Ինչ վերաբերում է հարցին, արդյոք Փաշինյանի հրապարակած «Պողպատե մանդատ» գրությամբ մուրճը չէր ենթադրում, որ ընտրություններից առաջ բանտերն ընդդիմադիրներով կլցվի, նա ասաց. «Իսկ հիմա լցված չէ՞: ՀՀ պատմության մեջ այսքան քաղբանտարկյալներ չեն եղել, այսպես եթե շարունակվի, թիվը ավելանելու է»:

Ինչ վերաբերում է, եթե իմփիչմենթի գործընթացով հնարավոր չլինի հասնել իշխանափոխության, արդյոք ՀՀԿ-ն մասնակցելու է հաջորդ ընտրություններին, Սարգսյանն ասաց, որ ժամանակը կգա, որոշում կկայացնեն:
