Իրանի նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշքիանը իսլամական երկրներին կոչ է արել միավորվել Իսրայելի ռեժիմի աղաղակող հանցագործությունների, մասնավորապես՝ Դոհայում պաղեստինյան ՀԱՄԱՍ խմբավորման վրա նրա օդային հարվածի լուրջ և արդյունավետ դատապարտման գործում, հաղորդում է Mehr-ը։
 Երեքշաբթի երեկոյան Կատարի էմիր Թամիմ բին Համադ բին Խալիֆա Ալ Թանիի հետ հեռախոսազրույցի ժամանակ նախագահ Փեզեշքիանը խիստ դատապարտել է Իսրայելի ագրեսիան և վերահաստատել Իրանի համերաշխությունը Կատարի հետ։

Փեզեշքիանը  քննադատել է Իսրայելին ընդունված միջազգային նորմերի և իրավական շրջանակների անտեսման համար՝ ընդգծելով, որ նման գործողություններն աջակցում է Միացյալ Նահանգները։
Նա շեշտել է, որ Իսրայելը «ինքնապաշտպանության պատրվակով խաթարում է անվտանգությունը, կայունությունը և խաղաղությունը ամբողջ տարածաշրջանում՝ առանց տատանվելու վայրագություններ կատարելով»։ Նախագահը իսլամական երկրներին կոչ է արել միասնական դիրքորոշում ընդունել այդ խախտումների առնչությամբ՝ հայտարարելով, որ համատեղ դատապարտումն անհրաժեշտ է Իսրայելի ռեժիմի հետագա ագրեսիան կանխելու համար։

Նա ընդգծել է, որ իսլամական երկրների համակարգված արձագանքը կարևոր է շարունակվող հանցագործություններին արդյունավետորեն հակազդելու համար։
Ի պատասխան՝ Կատարի էմիրը նշել է Իսրայելի գործողությունների վերաբերյալ միասնական տարածաշրջանային դիրքորոշման կարևորությունը՝ ընդգծելով, որ Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուն չի թաքցնում իր ագրեսիան։

Նա նշել է, որ ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի պաշտոնյաների հետ վերջերս տեղի ունեցած բանակցությունները ցույց տվեցին ԱՄՆ-ի հրադադարի առաջարկին դրական արձագանքելու պատրաստակամությունը, երբ Իսրայելը հարձակում է սկսում այդ բանակցությունների ընթացքում։

«Նա հույս է հայտնեցլ Իրանի և այլ իսլամական երկրների միջև շփումների շարունակության վերաբերյալ՝ համատեղ արդյունավետ միջոցներ ձեռնարկելու Իսրայելի վայրագությունները դադարեցնելու համար»,- գրել են իրանական լրատվամիջոցները։
