Կատմանդուում անկարգությունների մասնակիցները հրկիզել են Նեպալի նախագահ Ռամ Չանդրա Պաուդելի նստավայրը։
Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, վկայակոչելով «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ին, այս մասին գրում է Khabarhub-ը։
Ավելի վաղ զինվորականները տարհանել էին քաղաքական գործչին, իսկ պետության ղեկավարի գրասենյակը հերքել էր նրա հրաժարականի մասին տարածված տեղեկատվությունը։
Նեպալում հակակառավարական ցույցերի ժամանակ զոհերի թիվը հասել է 22-ի: Հարյուրավոր մարդիկ վիրավորվել են։
Ցույցերի երկրորդ օրը Կատմանդուում անկարգություններն ավելի են սրվել։ Երկու երիտասարդ ցուցարարներ գնդակահարվել են մայրաքաղաքի շրջաններից մեկում, երբ նրանք հրկիզել են տեղի ոստիկանական բաժանմունքի շենքը և հարձակվել դրա աշխատակիցների վրա: Անվտանգության ուժերի ներկայացուցիչները կրակ են բացել: Եվս մեկ մարդ զոհվել է փողոցում տեղի ունեցած բախումների ժամանակ:
Ցուցարարները ծեծի են ենթարկել մի քանի նախարարների, հրկիզել են խորհրդարանի շենքը, վանդալիզմի ենթարկել Գերագույն դատարանի շենքը, ինչպես նաև մի քանի լրատվամիջոցների գրասենյակներ։
Հնդկական մի քանի ավիաընկերություններ դադարեցրել են դեպի Նեպալ չվերթերը։ Հնդկաստանը նաև իր քաղաքացիներին կոչ է արել չճանապարհորդել Նեպալ անկարգությունների ընթացքում։
Իրավիճակը Նեպալում սրվել է այն բանից հետո, երբ կառավարությունն արգելել է սոցիալական 26 հարթակներ, քանի որ նրանք չէին գրանցվել՝ իշխանությունների պահանջին համապատասխան։ Ցույցերի ֆոնին սոցցանցերի արգելքը չեղարկվել է, սակայն բողոքի ակցիաները շարունակվել են, և երկրի վարչապետը հրաժարական է տվել։
