Հունգարացի լրագրող Լասլո Մեզեսը Facebook սոցիալական ցանցում գրել է, որ տուժել է անցյալ երկուշաբթի Թբիլիսիում՝ իշխող «Վրացական երազանք» կուսակցության ընտրական շտաբի մոտ տեղի ունեցած բախումների ժամանակ, հաղորդում է Գրուզիա Օնլայնը։
Լրագրողը գրել է, որ գտնվում է հիվանդանոցում։ Նրա դեմքն ու ձեռքը վնասված են։
Բողոքի ակցիայի մասնակիցները նրան օգնել են հասնել շտապօգնության մեքենային։ Լրատվամիջոցները տեսագրություններ են ստացել լրագրողի ծեծի մասին, որը կրել է «Press» գրությամբ հատուկ բաճկոն։
Սոցցանցերում նա իրեն ներկայացնում է որպես լրագրող և ակտիվիստ, EEBC՝ Eastern European Broadcasting Channel նախագծի հիմնադիր։ Վերջերս ուղիղ ռեպորտաժներ է վարել Վրաստանում տեղի ունեցող բողոքի ակցիաներից։
Լրագրողը հայտարարել է, որ իշխող կուսակցության ակտիվիստները հարձակվել են ցուցարարների վրա և երբ Publica վրացական հրատարակության երկու լրագրողներից բռնի ուժով խլել են հեռախոսները, ինքը սկսել է իր հեռախոսով նկարահանել կատարվածը։ Արդյունքում հեռախոսը խլել են նաև Մեզեսից և երբ նա փորձել է հետ ստանալ սարքը, հարձակվողը հարվածել է նրան։ Այնուհետև լրագրողը հայտնել է, որ դրանից հետո մի քանի մարդ սկսել են ծեծել նրան և նույնիսկ գետնին գցել։ Ի վերջո, ցուցարարները նրան դուրս են բերել ամբոխից և տեղափոխել շտապօգնության մեքենա։
Նախնական տվյալներով՝ «Վրացական երազանքի» շտաբի մոտ, որտեղ կուսակցության ակտիվիստների և ցուցարարների միջև բախումներ են տեղի ունեցել, վիրավորվել է մոտ տասը մարդ, որոնց մեծ մասը գլխի վնասվածքներ է ստացել։
Վրաստանի իշխող կուսակցությունը պնդել է, որ դա սադրանք էր՝ ցուցարարներին անվանելով «լիբերալ ֆաշիստներ»։ Ցուցարարներն էլ իրենց հերթին հայտարարել են, որ իրենք պլանավորված հարձակման թիրախ են եղել՝ նշելով կռվի սկսվելու պահին ոստիկանության բացակայությունը։
