Ինչպես և սպասելի էր, գործարար, բարերար Սամվել Կարապետյանը կշարունակի մնալ կալանքի տակ։ Վերաքննիչ դատարանը գրավոր կարգով քննել է պաշտպանների բողոքն ու որոշել է անփոփոխ թողնել առաջին ատյանի որոշումը։

Այս տարվա հունիսի 18-ից կալանքի տակ գտնվող Սամվել Կարապետյանը մի քանի անգամ միջնորդություն է ներկայացրել դատարան՝ կալանքը փոփոխելու վերաբերյալ, բայց բոլոր դեպքերում, որևէ ապացույց չունենալով, դատարանները կատարել են իշխանության քմահաճույքները և վերջինիս պահել կալանքի տակ։ Ըստ էության՝ այդ կերպ ապացուցելով, որ փաշինյանական իշխանությունն ամենաշատը վախենում է հենց Սամվել Կարապետյանից։

Վերջինիս պաշտպանության խորհուրդը հայտարարություն է տարածել՝ նշելով, որ դատարանի որոշումը կանխատեսելի էր և եկավ հաստատելու Հայաստանում դատական և իրավապահ համակարգի՝ քաղաքական հետապնդում իրականացնելու գործիք լինելու մասին կարծիքը։

«Սամվել Կարապետյանին անհեթեթ մեղադրանքով ու նույնպիսի հիմնավորումներով կալանավորելու որոշումները, որոնք կոչված են բավարարել փոքրիկ խմբակի ղեկավարի քմահաճույքները, ցավալիորեն զրկում են մեր երկիրը իրավական և ժողովրդավարական պետության կարգավիճակից։ Այսպես թե այնպես որևէ ապօրինություն չի կարող հուսահատեցնել մեզ», - նշել են Սամվել Կարապետյանի պաշտպանության խորհրդից։

Իսկ Կարապետյանը, բնականաբար, դատարանի այս որոշումից չի ընկրկելու։ Այն ի սկզբանե պարզ և հասկանալի էր։ Շարունակելու են իրավական պայքարը ընդդեմ գործող իշխանությունների կատարած ապօրինությունների։ Վաղ թե ուշ փաշինյանական իշխանությունը պատասխան է տալու Հայաստանը հակաժողովրդավարական պետություն դարձնելու իրենց գործողությունների համար։

Իսկ մինչ այդ նրանք դեռ կշարունակեն վայելել իշխանությունը ողջ թափով՝ թքած ունենալով պետության և նրա շահերի վրա։
