Մեծ Բրիտանիայում ազատ են արձակել ահաբեկչի, որը ծրագրել էր սպանել Բորիս Ջոնսոնին

Մեծ Բրիտանիայում ահաբեկչական պայթյունների սարսափելի ծրագրի հետ առնչություն ունեցող ահաբեկչական խմբավորման առաջնորդը, որը նաև Լոնդոնի կամրջի մարդասպան Ուսման Խանի մտերիմ համախոհն է, ազատ է արձակվել բանտից, գրում է The Sun-ը։
38-ամյա Մոհամմեդ Շաջահանը ձերբակալվել էր 2012 թվականին՝ երկրի նախկին վարչապետ Բորիս Ջոնսոնի, Բիգ Բենի և Լոնդոնի ֆոնդային բորսայի դեմ հարձակումներ նախապատրաստելու համար։ Չնայած 2023 թվականին պայմանական վաղաժամկետ ազատման փորձը ձախողվել էր, Շաջահանը ազատ է արձակվել՝ որոշման նոր վերանայման արդյունքում։
Մեծ Բրիտանիայի արդարադատության նախարարությունը հաստատել է, որ որոշումը կայացրել է անկախ Զուգահեռ պայմանական ազատման հանձնաժողովը, և մանրակրկիտ ուսումնասիրությունից հետո իրավական հիմքեր չեն եղել այն վերանայելու համար։
Նա դատապարտվել էր Խանի և մեկ այլ ծայրահեղական՝ Նազամ Հուսեյնի հետ միասին՝ MI5-ի և ոստիկանության համատեղ գործողության արդյունքում։ Շաջահանը և նրա խումբը համարվում էին լուրջ սպառնալիք։
Նրանք տարածում էին ռադիկալ գաղափարախոսություն, քարոզում էին բռնի ջիհադ, բացահայտ քննարկում էին հնարավոր հարձակման թիրախները և նույնիսկ փողոցներում վրաններ էին տեղադրում՝ քարոզչություն իրականացնելու համար։
Խումբը 2010 թվականից կապեր էր պահպանում Լոնդոնում և Քարդիֆում գործող ծայրահեղականների հետ՝ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի մասնակցությունը արտասահմանյան պատերազմներին օգտագործելով որպես ահաբեկչական գործողությունների արդարացում։
2012 թվականին նրանք ձերբակալվել էին MI5-ի և ոստիկանության լայնածավալ համատեղ գործողության ընթացքում։ Դատարանը որոշել էր, որ տղամարդիկ ներկայացնում են զգալի վտանգ և նշանակել էր անժամկետ ազատազրկում, որը հետագայում բողոքարկման արդյունքում չեղարկվել էր։ Ըստ կանոնների, նրանք կարող էին ազատվել պատժի կես ժամկետից հետո։ 2019 թվականին Շաջահանը ազատ էր արձակվել, սակայն մեկ տարի անց վերադարձվել էր բանտ՝ հսկողության պայմանների խախտման համար։
Խանի մտերիմ համախոհը՝ ազատ արձակվելուց հետո, 2019 թվականին Լոնդոնի կամրջի վրա սպանել էր երկու մարդու։ Խմբի մեկ այլ անդամ՝ Հուսեյնը, նույնպես պայմանականորեն ազատ էր արձակվել, սակայն հետագայում կրկին ձերբակալվել էր այլ գործով։
Շաջահանի ազատման մասին լուրը առաջացրել է նոր զայրույթ. քննադատները նախազգուշացնում են, որ նա շարունակում է վտանգ ներկայացնել։
