Ինչո՞ւ ենք նվիրում կենտ թվով ծաղիկներ, և ոչ թե զույգ

Ըստ ֆրանսիական, սլավոնական և հայկական ավանդույթների համաձայն, զույգ թվով ծաղիկներ տանում են միայն հուղարկավորության ժամանակ, իսկ կենդանի էակներին նվիրում են միայն կենտ թվով ծաղիկներ:
Ընդ որում, գրեթե ամբողջ Եվրոպայում, ԱՄՆ-ում և մի շարք արևելյան երկրներում հակառակն է ընդունված` նվիրում են միայն զույգ թվով ծաղիկներ, քանի որ, դա երջանկություն է բերում:
Իսրայելում ընդունված է նվիրել զույգ թվով ծաղիկներ, իսկ հուղարկավորություններին ծաղիկ ընդհանրապես չեն տանում:
Վրաստանում, կենտ թվով ծաղիկներն կապված են ընտանեկան արժեքների հետ`երկու ծաղիկը զույգ է, և դա հաջող համադրություն է համարվում: Բայց հուղարկավորությունների դեպքում նրանք կենտ թվով ծաղիկներ են տանում, «որպեսզի հանգուցյալը չվերցրնի նաև իր զույգին»:

Ըստ հեթանոսական հավատալիքների զույգ թվերն չարի և մահվան խորհրդանիշ են: Միանգամայն հակառակն են ընկալվում կենտ թվերը, որոնք խորհրդանշում են հաջողություն, երջանկություն, կյանք, զարգացում:
Մեր օրերում զույգ թվով ծաղիկներ տանում են հուղարկավորությունների դեպքում, իսկ նվիրում են կենտ թվով ծաղիկներ:
Չմոռանանք նշել, որ յուրաքանչյուր թիվ ինչ-որ իմաստ է արտահայտում: Օրինակ, մի ծաղիկը` նա ձեզ համար միակն է, երեքը` ուզում եք միշտ նրան տեսնել ձեր կողքին, հինգը` «ես սիրում եմ քեզ»:
Նշենք մեկ հետաքրքիր փաստ ևս` հնում յոթ ծաղիկ նվիրում էին միայն նշանադրության ժամանակ:
