Վերջին վեց ամիսների ընթացքում Ռուսաստանի և Միացյալ Նահանգների միջև մշակութային կապերի վերածննդի նշաններ են նկատվում։ Այս մասին լրագրողներին հայտնել է Ռուսաստանի նախագահի միջազգային մշակութային համագործակցության հարցերով հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Միխայիլ Շվիդկոյը, ով այժմ այցով գտնվում է Ճապոնիայում։ «Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ մշակութային կապերի վերածննդի նշանները ակնհայտ են», – նշել է նա։

Շվիդկոյը նշել է, որ Արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը որոշ ռուս իմպրեսարիոներից ստանում է Ռուսաստան մեկնելու պատրաստ ամերիկացի արտիստների և խմբերի վիզաների հարցում օգնելու խնդրանքներ։ «Ռոք խմբերից մինչև դասական փոփ կատարողներ և դասական երաժշտության կատարողներ։ Սա ակնհայտ է եղել վերջին վեց ամիսվա ընթացքում», – բացատրել է նա։

Նախագահի ներկայացուցիչը նշել է, որ մյուս կողմից, որոշ խոշոր ամերիկյան դահլիճներ, այդ թվում՝ Քարնեգի Հոլը, կապ են հաստատում Ռուսաստանում բնակվող երաժիշտների հետ՝ հրավիրելով նրանց համերգների։ «Սակայն պետք է ասել, որ մեր երաժիշտներից ոչ բոլորն են համաձայն։ Ոչ բոլորն են պատրաստ վազել այն իմպրեսարիոների գիրկը, ովքեր երկու կամ երեք տարի առաջ կտրականապես ասում էին, որ երբեք չեն հրավիրի երաժիշտներ Ռուսաստանից», – ասել է Շվիդկոյը՝ ընդգծելով, որ «քաղաքական իրավիճակը և Վլադիմիր Վլադիմիրովիչ Պուտինի և Դոնալդ Թրամփի միջև Ալյասկայում երկխոսությունը, ակնհայտորեն, տպավորել են ամերիկյան մշակութային կառույցին»։

Այս առումով նա նաև հիշել է ամերիկացի ռեժիսոր Վուդի Ալենի վերջերս Մոսկվայի միջազգային կինոշաբաթում ունեցած ելույթը՝ ընդգծելով, որ մեկ կամ երկու տարի առաջ դա դժվար կլիներ դա պատկերացնել։
