Երևանում նշվել է Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի վետերան Լաչին Ստեփանյանի 100-ամյակը։

Վետերանը հայտնի է նաև ռազմական թեմայով իր բանաստեղծություններով, որոնք տեղ են գտել Մոսկվայում վերջերս լույս տեսած ժողովածուում: Հայտնում են Երևանում Ռուսական տնից։

Հոբելյանի առթիվ կազմակերպվել էր Լաչին Ստեփանյանի մեծարման երեկո, որին ներկա էին Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի վետերաններ, նրանց անվան Հայաստանի վետերանների միավորման ներկայացուցիչներ:

Իրենց շնորհավորական խոսքում հյուրերը համակարծիք էին, որ Լաչին Ստեփանյանի, ինչպես նաև Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի մյուս վետերանների կյանքը մի ամբողջ ժողովրդի հերոսական պատմության անբաժանելի մասն է, որի մասին պետք է հիշել և սերնդեսերունդ փոխանցել:

Շնորհակալություն ձեր ուշադրության համար, իր հերթին նշել է վետերանը։

Լաչին Ստեփանյանը ծնվել է 1925թ.օգոստոսի 29-ին Եղվարդ քաղաքում: Երբ սկսվեց Մեծ հայրենականը, նա ընդամենը 16 տարեկան էր, բայց չսպասելով զորակոչին՝ կամավոր մեկնեց ռազմաճակատ, որտեղ արդեն մարտնչում էր նրա հայրը՝ Վաղարշակը։ Ստեփանյան ավագը հերոսաբար հասել է Բեռլին և, բարեբախտաբար, ողջ է մնացել։ Ինքը ՝ Լաչինը, կռվել է ոչ պակաս քաջությամբ։ Արիության և Մարտական ծառայությունների համար նա արժանացել է բազմաթիվ պարգևների, այդ թվում՝ Հայրենական պատերազմի I և II աստիճանի շքանշանների, Արիության համար, Կովկասի պաշտպանության համար, Մարտական ծառայությունների համար, Բուդապեշտը գրավելու համար մեդալների և այլն։

Պատերազմի ավարտից հետո նա ևս հինգ տարի ծառայել են Սևծովյան նավատորմի կազմում գտնվող հածանավում։ Այսօր, չնայած իր պատկառելի տարիքին, նա ապրում է հնարավորինս լիարժեք կյանքով.գրում է բանաստեղծություններ, Երևանի Մոսկվայի տան միջոցառումների ցանկալի հյուրն է, հանդիպում երիտասարդների հետ, ոգեշնչում իր օրինակով և հիշեցնում մեզ, թե որն էր Հաղթանակի և խաղաղության կյանքի գինը:
