Հայաստանի հասարակական և քաղաքական կյանքում ստեղծվել է իրավիճակ, երբ ժողովրդի սպասելիքները չեն արդարացվում, իսկ հասարակական ու քաղաքական խմբերը, փոխանակ միավորելու, հաճախ կենտրոնանում են միմյանց նկատմամբ ատելություն սերմանելու վրա։ Այդ մասին «Մեր ձևով» ժողովրդական շարժման շնորհանդեսի ժամանակ հայտարարել է շարժման համակարգող խորհրդի գլխավոր պատասխանատու, «Տաշիր գրուպ» ընկերությունների խմբի փոխնախագահ Նարեկ Կարապետյանը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ որքան խորանում են հասարակության մեջ հակասությունները և ատելությունը, այնքան ավելի մեծ խոչընդոտներ են առաջանում երկրի զարգացման համար։ Կարապետյանը շեշտել է, որ իշխանության գործելաոճը և ընդդիմադիր դաշտի մոտեցումները չեն նպաստում համախմբմանն ու կառուցողական լուծումներին։
Նա ընդգծել է, որ տարիներ առաջ հասարակությունը ներկայացվում էր որպես «հպարտ քաղաքացիներ», իսկ այսօր մարդկանց փորձում են համոզել հրաժարվել ազգային ինքնությունից ու ընդունել զիջումների ճանապարհը։
