Հարավչինական ծովում հայտնաբերվել է ջրահարսի նախատիպը (տեսանյութ)

Չինացի հետազոտողները հաստատել են դյուգոնի՝ առասպելական ջրահարսների նախատիպի գոյությունը։ Հազվագյուտ ծովային կաթնասունը համարվում էր գրեթե անհետացած, հաղորդում է չինական CGTN հրատարակությունը։
«Այս հայտնագործությունը կարևոր հուշումներ է տալիս այս տեսակի անդրօվկիանոսյան միգրացիայի սխեմաների մասին կրկնակի սթրեսի պայմաններում՝ կլիմայի փոփոխության և մարդու միջամտության», - ասել է Չինաստանի գիտությունների ակադեմիայի Հարավչինական ծովի օվկիանոսագիտության ինստիտուտի մասնագետ Ցին Գենը։
Առանձնյակն առաջին անգամ նկատվել է հուլիսի 8-ին, իսկ օգոստոսի 2-ին և 3-ին հետազոտողները կարողացել են դիտարկումներ անցկացնել մոտ տարածությունից և ստանալ տեսահաստատում։
Դյուգոնները, որոնք համարվում են առասպելական ջրահարսների նախատիպ, գտնվում են անհետացման վտանգի տակ։ Չինաստանում դրանք ունեն ամենաբարձր պաշտպանության տակ գտնվող տեսակի կարգավիճակ։ Վերջին անգամ Չինաստանի մայրցամաքային ափին կենդանի դյուգոններ են նկատվել ավելի քան 15 տարի առաջ, և տեսակը գործառնականորեն անհետացած է ճանաչվել այդ ջրերում 2022 թվականին։
Դյուգոնները կարող են հասնել մինչև երեք մետր երկարության, սնվում են բացառապես ջրիմուռներով և կարևոր դեր են խաղում ծովային կենսաբազմազանության պահպանման գործում։
