Դատական նիստի ավարտին Բագրատ Սրբազանը հանդես եկավ ելույթով և նշեց․ «Վաղը՝ օգոստոսի 23-ը 35-րդ ՀՀ Անկախության Հռչակագրի տարեդարձի ընդունման օրն է, որն այսօր ամբողջությամբ ոչ միայն տապալված է այլև վտանգված։ Շատ շուտով մեր երկրի թիվ մեկ ահաբեկիչը թշնամու թելադրանքով Անկախության Հռչակագրին ամբողջվին դուրս կդնի Սահմանադրությունից։

 

Ուզում եմ շնորհավորել մեզ Անկախության Հռչակագրի առիթով․ այսօր մեր պետությունը կանգնած է ծայրահեղ ծանր, սարսափելի մարտահարվերների առաջ, թե՛ հոգևոր, թե՛ բարոյական, թե՛ ֆիզիկական իմաստով։ Այս պայքարի ողջ բովանդակությունը եղել է այն, որ մենք ոչ միայն իշխանափոխություն և իշխանազրկում պետքէ անենք, և հատկապես ներսից պետք է վեևրափոխվի մեր կյանքը։ Այդ չվերափոխված, բոլորովին նոր Հայաստանի կյանքի մեջ մենք ականատես եղանք մի սարասափելի երևույթի, որն առնչված է մեր երիտասարդ Աղվան Արշակյանի հետ։

Ես երեկվա և այսօրվա ամբողջ գործընթացը համարում եմ մեծագույն շոկմոգություն։ Այս դահլիճում, պատվարժան դատարա՛ն, հայրենիքին նվիրված մարդիկ են, գործարարներ, ազատամարտով անցած, պատրաստ նահատակության, Հայրենիքի Հայր, մարդիկ են ովքեր արժեք ու բարիք են ստեղծում․ պետական ծառայություն են ունեցել ու շարունակելու են ունենալ, մարդիկ են, ովքեր բռնազավթված իրականությունից են գալիս, ում շիրիմներն այսօր անտեր են, և ում սրբավայրերն ուղղակիորեն վանդալիզմի են ենթարկվում։

Պատվարժան դատարա՛ն, ողջունում եմ անարդարադատությունը, որ հավասարապտիվ է դարձրել բոլոր այն մարդկանց, ովքեր նախընտրել են լինել կալանքի, տառապանքի ազատագրված հայրենքի ճանապարհի մեջ, քան բաժին ունենալ ուրացողների հետ։
