Կենտրոնական Ասիան և Հարավային Կովկասը դեպի ծով ելք չունեցող երկրների շարքում առևտրի աճի առաջատարներն են, հաղորդում է Եվրասիական զարգացման բանկը (ԵԶԲ):
Հարավային Կովկասի և Կենտրոնական Ասիայի երկրներում առևտուրը 2020-2024 թվականներին ավելի ինտենսիվ է զարգացել, քան դեպի ծով ելք չունեցող մյուս երկրներում:
Դեպի ծով ելք չունեցող երկրների առևտրի ընդհանուր աճը կազմում է +67%
Տարածաշրջանային առաջատարներն աճի տեմպերով՝ Հարավային Կովկաս +146% և Կենտրոնական Ասիա +103%
2024 թվականին այս երկու տարածաշրջանները միասին կազմել են դեպի ծով ելք չունեցող երկրների ընդհանուր առևտրային շրջանառության 55%-ը:
Աճի տեմպերով առաջատար երկրներն են Հայաստանը (+320%), Թուրքմենստանը (+230%), Ղրղզստանը (+191%):
Աշխարհի օվկիանոսներին և խորջրյա ուղիներին մուտքի բացակայությունը լրջորեն խոչընդոտում է առևտրին՝ հանգեցնելով արտահանման և ներմուծման ծախսերի 20-ից մինչև 40% աճի: Որքան լավ են տրանսպորտային կապը և սահուն ենթակառուցվածքները, ներառյալ սահմանային հատման ընթացակարգերը, այնքան ցածր են ծախսերը։
