ՀՀԿ փոխնախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը, դատարանի բակից լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում անդրադարձավ Հայաստանում քաղբանտարկյալների հարցին և խաղաղության պայմանագրի շուրջ ընթացող զարգացումներին։
Նրա խոսքով՝ այսօր Հայաստանում կա 30-ից ավելի քաղբանտարկյալ, սակայն նրանց ազատության համար պայքարը լիարժեք չէ:
«Գուցե ընդդիմությունը լավ չի պայքարում կամ բավարար չափով չի հանրայնացնում այդ պայքարը, բայց նաև հասարակությունն է պասիվ։ Եթե միայն Բագրատ Սրբազանի հետ լուսանկար ունեցող կամ նրա հետ երբևէ բարևելու ցանկություն ունեցած մարդկանց գոնե 5%-ը ներկայանար դատարանի դահլիճում, գրառում աներ ֆեյսբուքում, մասնակցեր ակցիային կամ պիկետին, վստահ եմ՝ ինչպես Բագրատ Սրբազանը, այնպես էլ մյուս բոլոր անարդարորեն դատվողները շատ արագ ազատ կարձակվեին։ Հանրային ճնշման ներքո Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ստիպված կլիներ այդ քայլին գնալ, որովհետև այդ ճնշումից առաջացող խնդիրները իր համար ավելի մեծ կլինեին, քան քաղբանտարկյալներին պահելու խնդիրը»,- հայտարարեց նա։
Աշոտյանը միաժամանակ անդրադարձավ խաղաղության պայմանագրի շուրջ ընթացող քննարկումներին ու Ալիևի հայտարարություններին՝ համեմատություններ անցկացնելով Ուկրաինայի և Հայաստանի միջև․
«Ալիևի մասին շատ է խոսվել, բոլորը հակադրում են Նիկոլի և Ալիևի խոսքերը և ճիշտ են անում։ Բոլորիս պարզ է, թե ինչ է իրականում մտածում, շնչում և արտաշնչում Ադրբեջանը։ Բայց ուզում եմ օրինակ բերել այլ իրավիճակից․ երեկ նայում էի Եվրամիության արտաքին գործերի հանձնակատար Կայա Կալլասի հարցազրույցը BBC-ին։ Ինչ է ասում տիկինը․ Ուկրաինան չպիտի խաղաղության համար տարածքներ զիջի։ Լո՞ւրջ։ Իսկ Հայաստանի դեպքում տարածքների զիջումը ողջունում եք։ Եթե զիջելը լավ լուծում է, տարեք ու Ուկրաինայում էլ արեք։ Ինչո՞ւ Ուկրաինայի դեպքում չի կարելի ոչինչ զիջել, Հայաստանի դեպքում՝ ճիշտ հակառակը»,- ասաց նա։
Նրա խոսքով՝ նույն Կալլասը Ուկրաինայի անվտանգության գլխավոր երաշխիքը համարում է ուկրաինական բանակը:
«Բա հայկական բանակի մասին ինչո՞ւ չեք խոսում։ Մեզ ասում են՝ ձեզ բանակ պետք չի։ Նիկոլից սկսած մինչև իր հովանավորները։ Բայց Ուկրաինայի դեպքում բոլորն էլ ասում են՝ բանակը անվտանգության երաշխիքն է։ Սա ցինիզմ է, որը վաճառում են։ Նիկոլը այդ կեղտոտ ապրանքը վաճառում է մեր վրա, բայց գնորդը մենք ենք՝ ժողովուրդը։ Պետք է մերժել այդ կեղծ խաղաղությունը։ Այդ խաղաղությունը որդնած է, փտած է, թունավոր է։ Այդտեղ խաղաղություն չկա, կա պետության, մարդկանց և արժանապատվության երկարատև, փուլային մահ»,- ասաց նա։
