Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը Ադրբեջանի ևս մեկ պահանջ է կատարում, այն է՝ փորձում է դեմիլիտարիզացնել Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը։ Համենայնդեպս, միայն այդպես կարելի է եզրակացնել նրա երեկ արած հայտարարությունից, թե Հայաստանը մտադիր չէ 2026 թվականին ավելացնել ռազմական բյուջեն։ Ֆինանսների նախարար Վահե Հովհաննիսյանը ավելի վաղ հայտարարել էր, թե Վաշինգտոնում Ադրբեջանի հետ խաղաղության համաձայնագրի նախաստորագրման ֆոնին իշխանությունները ծրագրում են 2026 թվականի բյուջեում նվազեցնել պաշտպանական ծախսերի մասնաբաժինը 2025 թվականի համեմատ։

«Հնարավոր է, որ 2026 թվականի բյուջեում ծախսերի էական աճ կամ պաշտպանական ծախսերի աճ ընդհանրապես չլինի։ Կարծում եմ, տրամաբանական է։ Համենայնդեպս, մեր գնահատականն այս պահին սա է», - ասել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։ Այս ֆոնին, երբ Հայաստանը նոր գումարներ չի ավելացնում սեփական պաշտպանունակությունը բարձրացնելու, Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է իր ռազմատենչ հռետորաբանությունը։ Հենց երեկ Իլհամ Ալիևը ուղևորվել էր օկուպացված Քարվաճառ, որտեղ հայտարարել էր, թե Ադրբեջանը ուժեղացնում է իր ռազմական կարողությունները։

«Երկրորդ Ղարաբաղյան պատերազմից հետո հատուկ նշանակության ուժերի թվաքանակը ավելացրել ենք հազարավոր մարտիկներով. չեմ ցանկանում նշել ճշգրիտ թիվը, բայց շատ ավելացվել է։ Նոր կոմանդո զորատեսակ է ստեղծվել։ Երկիր են բերվել նորագույն անօդաչու թռչող սարքեր, նոր հրետանային համակարգեր։ Կնքվել են պայմանագրեր նոր մարտական ինքնաթիռների ձեռքբերման վերաբերյալ, իսկ առկաներն ամբողջությամբ արդիականացվել են։ Մենք ցանկացած պահի պետք է պատրաստ լինենք պատերազմի։ Ուստի, եթե ինչ-որ մեկի հիվանդ մտքում ծագի մտադրություն սադրանք իրականացնել մեր պետության դեմ, կարծում եմ, նրանք նորից կզղջան այդ մասին», - ասել է Ալիևը՝ հստակ ակնարկելով Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանը։

Եվ մինչ թշնամի պետությունը անընդհատ զինվում է, նոր ռազմական ծախսեր անում, Հայաստանի իշխանությունները գնալով ավելի են նվազեցնում Հայաստանի պաշտպանունակության մակարդակը։
