ԱՄՆ-ում արևային էներգիան առաջին անգամ գերազանցել է քամու էներգիային

ԱՄՆ Էներգետիկ տեղեկատվության վարչության (EIA) կողմից հրապարակված տվյալների համաձայն արևային էներգիան մայիսին ապահովել է ԱՄՆ-ում էլեկտրաէներգիայի ընդհանուր արտադրության ավելի քան 11%-ը, ընդ որում քամու և արևային էներգիան արտադրել են երկրի էներգիայի ավելի քան մեկ հինգերորդը, իսկ բոլոր վերականգնվող էներգիայի աղբյուրների համադրությունը գրեթե 30% է, գրում է Ixbt.com–ը։

Միայն մայիսին արտադրական մասշտաբի արևային էներգիայի արտադրությունը (ավելի քան 1 մեգավատ (ՄՎտ)) տարեկան աճ է գրանցել 33.3%-ով, մինչդեռ փոքր մասշտաբի (օրինակ տանիքային) արևային էներգիայի արտադրությունը, ըստ գնահատականների, աճել է 8.9%-ով։ Միասին դրանք աճել են 26.4%-ով և ապահովել են ԱՄՆ-ում ամսվա էլեկտրաէներգիայի արտադրության ավելի քան 11%-ը։

Ընդ որում, առաջին անգամ ԱՄՆ-ում արտադրական և փոքրածավալ արևային էներգիայի համակցված արտադրությունն ավելի շատ էլեկտրաէներգիա է արտադրել, քան քամու էներգիան. արտադրված արևային էներգիան եղել է 38,965 գիգավատտ-ժամ (ԳՎտժ), քամու էներգիա 36,907 ԳՎտժ։

Միացյալ Նահանգներում արևային էներգիայի արտադրությունն այժմ զգալիորեն (6.1%) գերազանցել է հիդրոէլեկտրակայանների արտադրությանը։ Արևային էներգիան այժմ ավելի շատ էլեկտրաէներգիա է արտադրում, քան հիդրոէլեկտրակայանները, կենսազանգվածը և երկրաջերմային էներգիան միասին վերցրած։
