Եվրամիությունը (ԵՄ) կշարունակի պատժամիջոցների ճնշում գործադրել Ռուսաստանի վրա։ Այս մասին ասվում է ԵՄ առաջնորդների հայտարարության մեջ՝ Ռուսաստանի և ԱՄՆ նախագահներ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի և Դոնալդ Թրամփի միջև բանակցություններից հետո։
«Մենք պատրաստ ենք շարունակել ճնշում գործադրել Ռուսաստանի վրա։ Մենք նաև կշարունակենք խստացնել պատժամիջոցները և ընդլայնել տնտեսական միջոցառումները՝ Ռուսաստանի ռազմական տնտեսության վրա ճնշում գործադրելու համար, մինչև երկարատև և արդար խաղաղության հասնելը», - ասվում է փաստաթղթում։
Ուրբաթ օրը Ռուսաստանի և ԱՄՆ նախագահները լիարժեք հանդիպում անցկացրեցին յոթ տարվա ընթացքում առաջին անգամ։ Գագաթնաժողովը տեղի ունեցավ Ալյասկայի Էլմենդորֆ-Ռիչարդսոն ռազմաբազայում և ավարտվեց նրանով, որ առաջնորդները հայտարարեցին «նշանակալի առաջընթացի» մասին, բայց առանց որևէ համաձայնագիր ստորագրելու։
Նրանք քննարկեցին հիմնական հարցեր՝ Ուկրաինայում հակամարտության ավարտը, միջուկային զենքի վերահսկողության հեռանկարները և տնտեսության և անվտանգության ոլորտում երկկողմ կապերի վերականգնումը։
Գագաթնաժողովից հետո Թրամփը հայտարարեց Ռուսաստանի, Ուկրաինայի և ԱՄՆ առաջնորդների եռակողմ հանդիպման նախապատրաստական աշխատանքների մեկնարկի մասին։ Իր հերթին Պուտինը Թրամփին հրավիրեց Մոսկվա։
