Երբ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը անցյալ ամիս զանգահարել է Նորվեգիայի ֆինանսների նախարարին՝ առևտրային սակագների քննարկման համար, նա հարցրել է նաև խաղաղության Նոբելյան մրցանակի մասին, գրում է նորվեգական Dagens Naeringsliv բիզնես պարբերականը։
Մի քանի երկրներ, դրանց թվում՝ Հայաստանը, Ադրբեջանը, Իսրայելը, Պակիստանը և Կամբոջան, առաջադրել են Թրամփին՝ խաղաղության համաձայնագրերի կամ հրադադարի միջնորդի դերի համար, և նա հայտարարել է, որ արժանի է այդ մրցանակին, որը Նորվեգիան շնորհել է ԱՄՆ չորս նախորդ նախագահներին։
«Ասես ամպրոպ լիներ՝ անամպ երկնքում, երբ Դոնալդ Թրամփը զանգահարել է այդ պահին Օսլոյի փողոցով քայլող երկրի ֆինանսների նախարար Յենս Ստոլտենբերգին,- գրում է Dagens Naeringsliv-ը՝ հղում անելով անանուն աղբյուրներին: -Նա ուզում էր խաղաղության Նոբելյան մրցանակ ստանար և քննարկեր սակագները»։
Ամեն տարի առաջադրվում են հարյուրավոր թեկնածուներ, իսկ դափնեկիրներին ընտրում է Նորվեգիայի Նոբելյան կոմիտեն, որի հինգ անդամներին նշանակում է Նորվեգիայի խորհրդարանը՝ ըստ 19-րդ դարի շվեդ արդյունաբերող Ալֆրեդ Նոբելի կտակի։ Մրցանակները կհայտարարվեն Օսլոյում հոկտեմբերին։
Նորվեգական պարբերականը նշում է, որ սա առաջին դեպքը չէ, երբ Թրամփը բարձրացնում է մրցանակը ՆԱՏՕ-ի ռազմական դաշինքի նախկին գլխավոր քարտուղար Ստոլտենբերգի հետ։ Ըստ պարբերականի՝ Ստոլտենբերգն ասել է, որ հեռախոսազրույցի նպատակն էր քննարկել առևտրային սակագները և տնտեսական համագործակցությունը՝ նախքան Թրամփի և Նորվեգիայի վարչապետ Յոնաս Ստյորեի հեռախոսազրույցը։
Պատասխանելով հարցին, թե արդյոք Թրամփին քննարկվել է Նոբելյան մրցանակի թեման, Ստոլտենբերգը պատասխանել է. «Ես չեմ խորանա հեռախոսազրույցի բովանդակության մեջ»։
Ստոլտենբերգը նշել է, որ հեռախոսազրույցին մասնակցել են Սպիտակ տան մի քանի պաշտոնյաներ, նրանց թվում՝ ԱՄՆ ֆինանսների նախարար Սքոթ Բեսենթը և առևտրի ներկայացուցիչ Ջեյմիսոն Գրիրը։ Հուլիսի 31-ին Սպիտակ տունը հայտարարել է Նորվեգիայից ներմուծման վրա 15 տոկոս սակագնի սահմանման մասին, նույնը, ինչ Եվրամիությունում։ Ստոլտենբերգը չորեքշաբթի հայտարարել է, որ Նորվեգիան և Միացյալ Նահանգները դեռևս բանակցություններ են վարում սակագների շուրջ։
