Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին Լոնդոնում հանդիպել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի վարչապետ Կիր Սթարմերի հետ, որի հետ համաձայնեցրել է դիրքորոշումները։ Այս մասին Ուկրաինայի առաջնորդը հայտնել է Telegram-ում հինգշաբթի՝ օգոստոսի 14-ին։

«Երեկ բոլոր գործընկերների հետ միասին, այսօր երկկողմ ձևաչափով քննարկեցինք Ալյասկայում կայացած հանդիպումից ակնկալիքները և հնարավոր հեռանկարները։ Մենք նաև մանրամասն քննարկեցինք անվտանգության երաշխիքները, որոնք կարող են աշխարհը դարձնել իսկապես կայուն, եթե Միացյալ Նահանգները կարողանա Ռուսաստանին դրդել դադարեցնել սպանությունները և զբաղվել իրական իմաստալից դիվանագիտությամբ։ Կարևոր է, որ մենք բոլորս միասին աշխատենք որպես նրանց կոալիցիա, ովքեր ցանկանում են հասնել արդյունավետ անվտանգության ձևաչափերի», - գրել է նա։

Զելենսկին և Ստարմերը քննարկել են ուկրաինական բանակին և պաշտպանական արտադրությանը աջակցելու ծրագրերի շարունակությունը։ Նախագահը ընդգծել է, որ անկախ իրավիճակի զարգացումից, Ուկրաինան կմնա ուժեղ։

Նա նաև հրավիրեց Մեծ Բրիտանիային միանալ PURL (Ուկրաինայի առաջնահերթ կարիքների ցանկ) ծրագրին։

«Իհարկե, մենք քննարկեցինք մեր հարյուրամյակի համաձայնագիրը։ Ուկրաինան պատրաստվում է վավերացնել այն օգոստոսին, և արդյունքում մենք կկարողանանք անցկացնել Ուկրաինա-Մեծ Բրիտանիա ընդլայնված հանդիպում», - ասաց Զելենսկին։

Ուկրաինայի առաջնորդը և Մեծ Բրիտանիայի վարչապետը քննարկել են հայրենական անօդաչու թռչող սարքերի արտադրության մեջ ներդրումները։
