Ռուսաստանի Պետական դումայում Կոմունիստական կուսակցության պատգամավորներ Վալերի Ռաշկինը և Սերգեյ Օբուխովը Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին ու արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովին նամակ են հղել` առջարկելով  չեղարկել Մոսկվայի 1921թ. մարտի 16-ի ռուս-թուրքական բարեկամության ու եղբայրության մասին պայմանագիրը։ «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` այս մասին հայտնում է ռուսական «Իզ վեստիա» թերթը: Պատգամավորներն իրենց քայլը հիմնավորել են Թուրքիայի ագրեսիվ պահվածքով։ «Այժմ` թուրքական ագրեսիայի աճի պայմաններում, մենք պետք է իրավական մեխանիզմներ մշակենք` մեր երկրի և դաշնակիցների համար ոչ շահավետ ռուս-թուրքական համաձայնագրերի վերանայման նպատակով: Անկարան պետք է հասկանա, թե իր համար ինչ կարժենա հակամարտության սրումը: Միայն դա կարող է նրան հետ պահել նոր պրովոկացիաներից»,-«Իզվեստիա»-ին ասել է Սերգեյ Օբուխովը:

Նշվում է, որ Վրաստանը և Հայաստանը չեն ճանաչում պայմանագրի պայմանները՝ դրանք անարդարացի համարելով: «Հայաստանը չի ընդունում Մոսկվայի ու Կարսի պայմանագրերը, որով բոլշևիկյան Ռուսաստանը Թուրքիային հանձնեց Կարսի նահանգը, Սուրմալուն՝ Արարատ լեռով հանդերձ»,-գրել է «Իզվեստիա»-ն:

Այս նախաձեռնությունը սատարում են նաև «Արդար Ռուսաստան» կուսակցությունում: Պատգամավոր Օլեգ Պախոլկովի խոսքով` այդ պայմանագիրն ստորագրվել է հակասելով Ռուսաստանի շահերին:
