Իրանի պաշտպանության նախարար, բրիգադի գեներալ Ազիզ Նասիրզադեն հայտարարել է, որ Իրանի զինված ուժերը հետևում են թշնամու գործողություններին և պատրաստ են դիմակայել Միացյալ Նահանգներիև Իսրայելի ցանկացած նոր ագրեսիայի, հաղորդում է Mehr գործակալությունը։
Գեներալ Նասիրզադեն նման հայտարարությունն արել է Հարավային Աֆրիկայի ազգային պաշտպանության ուժերի (SANF) գլխավոր հրամանատար, գեներալ Ռուձանի Մաֆ Վանյայի գլխավորած հարավաֆրիկյան պատվիրակության հետ Թեհրանում երեքշաբթի տեղի ունեցած հանդիպման ժամանակ։
Իրանցի նախարարը գովաբանել է Հարավային Աֆրիկայի կառավարությանը «Իրանի դեմ Իսրայելի և ԱՄՆ-ի ագրեսիան դատապարտելու» և միջազգային դատարաններում Իսրայելի ցեղասպանության գործին աջակցելու համար։
«Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը, իր օրինական իրավունքի շրջանակում, ուժեղ և վճռական պատասխան է տվել այդ ռեժիմին՝ ստիպելով թշնամուն որոշ միջնորդների միջոցով հրադադար խնդրել, և մենք համաձայնել ենք նրանց խնդրանքին՝ կանխելու համար ճգնաժամի սրումը։ Սակայն մենք ուշադիր հետևում ենք թշնամու գործողություններին և պատրաստ ենք ցանկացած նոր արկածախնդրության»,- նշել է նա։
Հարավաֆրիկյան կողմն, իր հերթին, նշել է, որ երկու երկրները շատ ընդհանրություններ ունեն «գլոբալ անարդարության և խտրականության դեմ պայքարում»։
Գեներալ Մաֆ Վանյան անդրադարձել է Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության ռազմավարական և աշխարհաքաղաքական դիրքին Պարսից ծոցի տարածաշրջանում և Արևմտյան Ասիայում՝ ընդգծելով երկու անկախ երկրների միջև երկկողմ համագործակցության ամրապնդման կարևորությունը։ Հանդիպման ավարտին Հարավաֆրիկյան ազգային պաշտպանության ուժերի գլխավոր հրամանատարը շեշտել է, որ երկու երկրների բարենպաստ աշխարհաքաղաքական դիրքը և անդամակցությունը ԲՐԻԿՍ կազմակերպությանը շահավետ առավելություններ են երկու երկրների համար՝ իր այցն անվանելով երկու երկրների միջև համերաշխության և միասնության ցանկության արտահայտման խորհրդանիշ։
