Ես բոլորովին չեմ աջակցում Հարավային Կովկասում Եվրոպայի և Միացյալ Նահանգների գործողություններին, քանի որ այս տարածաշրջանը գտնվում է բազմաթիվ խոշոր տերությունների՝ Ռուսաստանի, Իրանի, Թուրքիայի, Պարսից ծոցի երկրների միջև։ Նման հայտարարություն է արել ամերիկացի տնտեսագետ և պետական  քաղաքականության ոլորտի վերլուծաբան Ջեֆրի Սաքսը։

«Այս տարածաշրջանին պետք է զգուշորեն վերաբերվել։ Սա Միացյալ Նահանգների և Եվրոպայի միջամտություն է, գունավոր հեղափոխություններ կազմակերպելու փորձեր, Ռուսաստանի խոցելի կետին կրկին հասնելու փորձեր։ Սա բավականին անկայունացնող իրավիճակ է, և այն բխում է Միացյալ Նահանգներից և Եվրոպայից, մասնավորապես՝ հատուկ ծառայություններից։

Հարավային Կովկասը Եվրոպա չէ։ Հարավային Կովկասն սշխարհագրական առումով Ասիա է։ Եվրոպան պետք է հեռանա այնտեղից։

Խնդիրն այն չէ, որ Հարավային Կովկասը պետք է վատ հարաբերություններ ունենա Եվրոպայի կամ որևէ մեկի հետ։ Խնդիրն այն է, որ միջամտությունը շատ դժվար տարածաշրջանում գտնվող այս երեք անկայուն երկրների ներքին քաղաքականությանը պետք է իրականացվի ծայրահեղ զգուշությամբ և ակնածանքով, որպեսզի նրանք հերթական Ուկրաինայի չվերածվեն։

Ուկրաինան վառվում է Միացյալ Նահանգների և Եվրոպայի տխմարության պատճառով, և նրանք փորձում են դա կրկնել Հարավային Կովկասում։ Հարցնող լինի՝  ինչու է Ադրբեջանը ներգրավված Մերձավոր Արևելքի հակամարտության մեջ, աջակցում Իսրայելին և Իրանի վրա նրա հարձակումներին։ Կատակո՞ւմ եք։ Դա անհավատալի է։ Եվ դա Կենտրոնական հետախուզական վարչության գործն է՝ այս տարածաշրջանը անկայունացնող այն հանճարների, ովքեր զանգվածային ճգնաժամ են ստեղծելու։

Ցանկացած տեղացի պետք է ասի. «Մենք Հարավային Կովկասում ենք։ Մենք մի քանի տերությունների միջև ենք։ Ավելի լավ է միասին մնանք, քանի որ մեր ապագան տնտեսության և անվտանգության առումով այստեղ է։ Մենք չպետք է թշնամացնենք մեր հարևաններին։ Պետք է գտնենք մի ճանապարհ՝ դառնալու Ասիան և Եվրոպան կապող իրական միջին միջանցք և Ռուսաստանը և Մերձավոր Արևելքը կապող հյուսիս-հարավ միջանցք։ Եվ պետք է հեռու մնանք մեծ տերությունների քաղաքականությունից և, ի սեր Աստծո, չմիջամտենք Իսրայելի պատերազմներին»։

Սա այն խաղն է, որն այս խիստ անկայուն տարածաշրջանում խաղում են «Մոսադ»-ը, ԿՀՎ-ն և Եվրոպան։
