Եգիպտոսի և «Լիվերպուլի» հարձակվող Մոհամեդ Սալահը կոշտ քննադատել է ՈւԵՖԱ-ին՝ կապված կազմակերպության հայտարարության հետ, որտեղ չի նշվել Պաղեստինի նախկին ֆուտբոլիստ Սուլեյման Ալ-Օբեյդի մահվան պատճառը։ Այս մասին հայտնում է ArmSport.am-ը։

ՈւԵՖԱ-ն օգոստոսի 7-ին X սոցիալական հարթակում հրապարակել էր հետևյալ գրառումը․

«Ցտեսություն, Սուլեյման Ալ-Օբեյդ՝ «պաղեստինյան Պելե»։ Տաղանդ, որ հույս էր ներշնչում հազարավոր երեխաների՝ անգամ ամենամութ ժամանակներում»։

Սալահը վերահրապարակել է գրառումը՝ ՈւԵՖԱ-ին ուղղելով հարց․

«Կարո՞ղ եք ասել, թե ինչպես է նա մահացել, որտեղ և ինչու»։

Պաղեստինի ֆուտբոլի ասոցիացիան հայտնել է, որ 41-ամյա Ալ-Օբեյդը զոհվել է օգոստոսի 6-ին Իսրայելի ավիահարվածից՝ Գազայի հարավում հումանիտար օգնության սպասելիս։

Սուլեյման Ալ-Օբեյդը համարվում էր Պաղեստինի ամենատաղանդավոր ֆուտբոլիստներից մեկը և կրում էր «պաղեստինյան Պելե» մականունը։ Նա խաղացել է «Ալ-Շատի», «Մարկեզ Շաբաբ ալ-Ամարի» և «Գազա Սպորտ» ակումբներում՝ կարիերայի ընթացքում խփելով ավելի քան 100 գոլ։ Պաղեստինի հավաքականում անցկացրել է 24 խաղ և խփել 2 գոլ։

Իսրայելը մայիսի 18-ին հայտարարել էր Գազայի հատվածում «Գեդեոնի կառքեր» անվամբ ցամաքային գործողության մեկնարկի մասին, որի ընթացքում իրականացվել են ինտենսիվ ռազմական գործողություններ։
