Սիրիական բանակն ակտիվացրել է հարձակողական գործողությունները Հալեպից հյուսիս եւ արեւելք ընկած շրջաններում՝ ընդլայնելով իր հսկողության գոտին երկրի հյուսիսային մայրաքաղաքի եւ Թուրքիայի սահմանի միջեւ: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով «Ալ Մայադին&raq uo; հեռուստաալիքին, զորքերը ժողովրդական աշխարհազորի աջակցությամբ շրջապատում են Էլ-Բեբ քաղաքը, որը «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման զինյալների խոշոր հենակետ է ծառայում: Առաջաապահ զորամասերը քաղաքի վրա հարձակվում են երեք ուղղությամբ:
ԻՊ-ի ելուզակների դեմ մարտեր են մղվում Թուրքիայի հետ սահմանից 13 կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա: Հեռուստաալիքի տեղեկությունների համաձայն՝ ահաբեկիչների եւ «Ջեբհաթ աշ Շամիա» խմբավորումից թուրքամետ իսլամիստների կազմավորումները համաձայնագիր են կնքել եւ համակարգում են ռազմական գործողությունները սիրիական բանակի դեմ:
Հյուսիսարեւելյան ռազմաճակատի մյուս հատվածում առաջապահ բանակային զորամասերը հակառակորդի ամրացված շրջանները գրոհել են Էթ Թեյբում եւ Ջուբ Սաֆայում՝ Մանբիջ քաղաքի (Հալեպից 80 կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա) մատույցներում: Ինչպես հաղորդել է ՍԱՆԱ լրատվական գործակալությունը, սպանված տասնյակ զինյալների թվում կան ԻՊ-ի մի քանի դաշտային հրամանատարներ:
Մարտական գործողությունները շարունակվում են Նոբուլ եւ Էզ Զահրա շիաբնակ քաղաքներից հարավ ընկած շրջանում, որոնք անցած շաբաթ ազատվել էին ավելի քան երեք տարի շարունակվող պաշարումից:
