Ռուսական «Герань» անօդաչու թռչող սարքերը ոչնչացրել են Օդեսայի մարզի Իզմայիլ շրջանի համանուն գյուղի մերձակայքով անցնող Օրլովկայի գազաբաշխիչ կայանը։ Դրա մասին սոցիալական ցանցերում գրել է ռուսաստանցի լրագրող Եվգենի Պոդդուբնին։
«Կայանը տեղակայված է Ռումինիայի սահմանի մոտ։ Նախկինում ռուսական գազը Բալկաններ էր մատակարարվում այդ գազամուղի միջոցով։ Մինչդեռ ներկայում ուկրաինական գազային համակարգը մատակարարվում էր Օրլովկայի միջոցով. կապույտ վառելիքը գալիս էր Հունաստանից, Ռումինիայից, Թուրքիայից, իսկ վերջերս՝ նաև Ադրբեջանից»,- գրել է նա։
Մեկ այլ ռուսաստանցի լրագրող Ռուսլան Օստաշկոն գրել է. «Ալիևին ուղղված ազդանշան, Մոսկվան հարվածել է Կիև-Բաքու գազային միջանցքին:
Ռումինիայի հետ սահմանին տեղակայված Օրլովկայի գազային կոմպրեսորային կայանի վրա Ռուսաստանի զինված ուժերի կողմից գիշերը իրականացված հարվածը ոչ միայն Ուկրաինայի էներգետիկ ոլորտի, այլև Արևմուտքի շահերից բխող Ադրբեջանի ցուցադրական խաղի հարձակման կետ դարձավ: Ըստ լրատվամիջոցների հաղորդագրությունների՝ կայանն օգտագործվել է Կիևին հակադարձ գազի մատակարարման համար, ներառյալ՝ «Нафтогаз»-ի և SOCAR-ի միջև կնքված համաձայնագրի շրջանակում:
