Բրիտանիայի կառավարությունը ևս 100 մլն ֆունտ կհատկացնի միգրանտների անօրինական ներկրման դեմ պայքարին

Բրիտանիայի ներքին գործերի նախարար Իվետ Կուպերը հայտարարել է, որ այս միջոցը կօգնի Մեծ Բրիտանիային ավելի լավ «հետևել մաքսանենգների խմբավորումներին և պայքարել դրանց դեմ»։ Պահպանողական կուսակցությունն այդ նախաձեռնությունն անվանել է «վերնագրերում հայտնվելու հուսահատ փորձ, որն իրականում ոչինչ չի փոխի»։
2025 թվականի ընթացքում, հուլիսի վերջի դրությամբ, ավելի քան 25 հազար անօրինական միգրանտ փոքր նավակներով Ֆրանսիայից անցել է Մեծ Բրիտանիա՝ հատելով Լա Մանշը, հայտնում է BBC-ն։
Անցյալ ամիս Մեծ Բրիտանիան և Ֆրանսիան պայմանավորվել են «մեկը ժամանեց, մեկը մեկնեց» փորձնական ծրագրի շուրջ, որի նպատակն է միգրանտներին հետ պահել նեղուցը հատելուց։ Ժամանածների մի մասին կվերադարձնեն Ֆրանսիա, իսկ փոխարենը Մեծ Բրիտանիան կընդունի համարժեք թվով ապաստան հայցողների՝ անվտանգության ստուգումներ անցնելու պայմանով։
