Շաբաթ օրը Անգլիայի կենտրոնական մասում 76-ամյա տղամարդը դատարան է ներկայացել՝ մեղադրվելով երեխաների նկատմամբ բռնության մեջ, այն բանից հետո, երբ ամառային ճամբարում մի քանի տղա հիվանդացել են այն բանից հետո, երբ մեղադրող կողմը հայտնել է, որ դա քնաբերով լի քաղցրավենիք է, հաղորդում է Associated Press-ը։

Ոստիկանությունը հայտնում է, որ կիրակի օրը ստացել է հաղորդագրություններ, որ երեխաները հիվանդ են եղել Ստեյթեն Լոջում՝ Լոնդոնից մոտ 190 կիլոմետր (120 մղոն) հյուսիս գտնվող վերակառուցված ֆերմայում՝ մարզասրահով և սննդի կետերով։ Ութ տղա՝ 8-ից 11 տարեկան, և մեկ մեծահասակ նախազգուշական միջոցներով տեղափոխվել են հիվանդանոց։
Բոլորն էլ դուրս են գրվել։ Ռուբենը ձերբակալվել է երկուշաբթի օրը ճամբարի մոտ գտնվող պանդոկում։ Ռուբենը, որի տան հասցեն ճամբարից մոտ 24 կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա է, մեղադրվում է երեք մեղադրանքով՝ «երեխաների վրա կանխամտածված կերպով հարձակվելու, չարաշահելու, անտեսելու, թողնելու կամ վտանգելու մտադրությամբ այնպիսի ձևով, որը կարող է նրանց ավելորդ տառապանք կամ վնասվածք պատճառել»։
Հյուրանոցը պատկանում է Braithwaite Gospel Trust քրիստոնեական բարեգործական կազմակերպությանը: Ոստիկանությունը շեշտել է, որ սեփականատերերը «կապված չեն հանգստավայրն օգտագործող կամ վարձակալող անձանց հետ և ներգրավված չեն եղել միջադեպում»:
