Համայնքային ոստիկանության Արմավիրի բաժնում ստացվել էր օպերատիվ տեղեկություն, որ Արևիկ գյուղի բնակչ 53-ամյա մի տղամարդ հողամասում աճեցնում է կանեփ ու նաև ապօրինի պահում է թմրամիջոց։
Տեղեկությունը ստուգվեց հուլիսի 30-ին: Մինչ համայնքային ոստիկանները կհասնեին սեփականաշնորհված հողամաս` ճանապարհին նկատեցին մի երիտասարդի, որը կանեփի բույսեր ձեռքին վազում էր։ Ժամը 14.35-ին նա ձերբակալվեց և տեղափոխվեց բաժին: Պարզվեց, որ փախչողը 53-ամյա տղամարդու որդու ընկերն է:
Կանեփի կիսաչոր բույսերը կշռում էին մոտ 12 կիլոգրամ։
Ժամը 15-ին ձերբակալվեց ու բաժին տեղափոխվեց նաև 53-ամյա տղամարդը:
Նա հայտնեց, որ կիսաչոր կանեփն իրենն է` անձնական օգտագործման համար։ Ըստ նախնական տեղեկության` հենց նա էր որդու ընկերոջը խնդրել կանեփի թփերը տեղափոխել ու պահել այլ վայրում:
Տղամարդը, նրա որդու 24-ամյա ընկերն ու կազմված փաստաթղթերը ներկայացվել են Արմավիրի մարզային քննչական վարչություն։
