Մեծ Բրիտանիան և 13 դաշնակիցներ, դրանց թվում՝ Միացյալ Նահանգները և Ֆրանսիան, հինգշաբթի դատապարտել են այն, ինչը նրանք անվանել են իրանական հատուկ ծառայությունների կողմից Եվրոպայում և Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայում անհատների թիրախավորող սպանությունների, առևանգումների և հետապնդումների աճ, հաղորդում է Reuters-ը։
«Մենք միասնական ենք մեր դիմակայության մեջ՝ դեմ արտահայտվելով իրանական հատուկ ծառայությունների ջանքերին՝ սպանելու, առևանգելու և հետապնդելու մարդկանց Եվրոպայում և Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայում, ինչը մեր ինքնիշխանության ակնհայտ խախտում է»,- ասվում է երկրների համատեղ հայտարարության մեջ։
Ավստրիայի, Ալբանիայի, Բելգիայի, Կանադայի, Չեխիայի, Դանիայի, Ֆինլանդիայի, Ֆրանսիայի, Գերմանիայի, Նիդեռլանդների, Իսպանիայի, Շվեդիայի, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և ԱՄՆ-ի կառավարությունները կոչ են արել Իրանի իշխանություններին «անհապաղ դադարեցնել նման անօրինական գործունեությունը»։
Նրանք հայտարարել են, որ նման գործողություններն «ավելի ու ավելի հաճախ են իրականացվում միջազգային հանցավոր ցանցերի հետ համագործակցությամբ»։
2022 թվականի սկզբից ի վեր Մեծ Բրիտանիան հայտարարել է, որ կանխել է «Իրանին առնչվող ավելի քան 20 դավադրություն՝ Մեծ Բրիտանիայում մարդկանց, այդ թվում՝ բրիտանացի քաղաքացիների և Թեհրանի կողմից վտանգավոր համարվող այլ անձանց առևանգելու կամ սպանելու համար»։
2024-ի ոկտեմբերին Reuters-ը հաղորդել էր, որ Իրանը կանգնած է «Եվրոպայում և Միացյալ Նահանգներում տեղի ունեցած մահափորձերի և առևանգումների ալիքի» հետևում։
Մարտին Մեծ Բրիտանիայի կառավարությունը հայտարարեց, որ պահանջելու է, որ իրանական պետությունը գրանցի քաղաքական ազդեցության բոլոր ձևերը՝ հղում անելով Թեհրանի հատուկ ծառայությունների «աճող ագրեսիվ վարքագծին»։
