Կամչատկայի ափերի մոտ մոտ 8,7 մագնիտուդ ուժգնությամբ երկրաշարժ է տեղի ունեցել. Կուրիլյան կղզիներում և Ճապոնիայում ցունամիի վտանգ է հայտարարվել

Կամչատկայի ափերի մոտ տեղի է ունեցել մինչև 8.7 մագնիտուդ ուժգնությամբ հզոր երկրաշարժ։ Այն ամենաուժեղն էր 1952 թվականից ի վեր: Այս մասին փոխանցում է kommersant.ru-ն։
Կուրիլյան բոլոր կղզիների համար հայտարարվել է ցունամիի սպառնալիք։
Երկրաշարժի էպիկենտրոնը գրանցվել է Պետրոպավլովսկ-Կամչատսկից 150 կմ հարավ-արևելք և Հյուսիս-Կուրիլսկից 360,9 կմ հյուսիս-արևելք: Ճեղքվածքը տարածվել է առնվազն 200 կմ հարավ-արևմտյան ուղղությամբ՝ խորջրյա խրամատի առանցքի երկայնքով։
Նշվում է, որ ուժեղ հետցնցումները կշարունակվեն առնվազն մեկ ամիս: Կամչատկայի առողջապահության նախարարության տվյալներով՝ տուժածներ կան, բայց բոլորը գտնվում են բավարար վիճակում և առանց ծանր վնասվածքների։
Փլուզվել են մի քանի հաստատություններ։
Կամչատկայի երկրամասի կառավարությունը կրճատել է պետական մարմինների աշխատանքային օրը մինչև ժամը 13:00։
Ցունամիի վտանգ է հայտարարվել նաև Ճապոնիայում։ Երկրի կառավարությունը կոչ է արել որոշ շրջանների բնակիչներին տարհանվել։
ԱՄՆ-ում նախազգուշացում է հայտարարվել Հավայան կղզիներում ցունամիի մասին, ինչպես նաև վերահսկողության ռեժիմ՝ Ալյասկայում և Խաղաղ օվկիանոսի ափին:
