«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

«Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, որը Մարտի 1-ին հրահրել է, որ տրոլեյբուսներ վառեն, խանութներ թալանեն, որը կազմակերպել է մեծ բախումներ, ինչի հետևանքով զոհեր են եղել, ու թողել փախել է, հիմա էլ ասում է՝ գնում եմ Վեհարանը գրավեմ, Կաթողիկոսին հեռացնեմ», -ասում է «Համահայկական ճակատ» շարժման ղեկավար, ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար, գեներալ-մայոր Արշակ Կարապետյանը՝ հավելելով, թե Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայ ազգի ամենամեծ թշնամին է, թիվ մեկ թշնամին է, ավելի վտանգավոր է, քան Թուրքիան ու Ադրբեջանը:

Փաշինյանն ասում է, թե դա անելու է ոչ թե որպես վարչապետ, այլ որպես ՀՀ քաղաքացի: «Ես էլ եմ ՀՀ քաղաքացի, ես էլ, ուրեմն, կարող եմ ասել, գնում եմ վարչապետի նստավայրը գրոհեմ, Նիկոլին այնտեղից դուրս շպրտեմ: Ու, այո, մտնելու ենք և դուրս շպրտենք,-նշում է Կարապետյանն ու հավելում,-թող մի երկու քրեական վարույթ էլ նախաձեռնի ու գնա սառը ցնցուղ ընդունի»:

Ըստ պաշտպանության նախկին նախարարի, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը քաղաքացիական պատերազմ է հրահրում, նա ցանկանում է բախումներ կազմակերպել. «Մենք հիմա քաղաքացիական պատերազմի շեմին ենք, որը չափազանց ծանր է լինելու Հայաստանի համար: Ու դրան դրդում է Հայաստանի այսօրվա իշխանությունը՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի գլխավորությամբ: Եթե ընդդիմադիր գործիչները կալանավորվում են հենց միայն կարծիք հայտնելու համար, եթե ցանկանում է զավթել Եկեղեցին, եթե փակում է իշխանությունը փոխելու օրինական բոլոր ճանապարհները, ապա այդ իշխանությանը գցելու միայն մեկ ձև է մնում, այն է՝ ժողովրդի կոշտ ապստամբությունը: Ու դա թելադրում են հենց իշխանությունները»:

Կարապետյանի խոսքերով, հայ ժողովուրդը, սակայն, երբեք չի հանձնվել: «Մենք էլ մեր ժողովրդի մի մասնիկն ենք ու չենք հանձնվելու երբեք, ու հաղթելու ենք: Նիկոլն ապագա չունի, նա պետք է հեռացվի ու հեռացվելու է»,-ամփոփում է Արշակ Կարապետյանը:
