Ես չեմ հավատում, որ այն հասարակությունը, որը 30 տարի շարունակ պայքարել է Արցախի համար, մեկ օրում որոշեց, որ այդ հարցն այլևս իր համար գոյություն չունի: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասել է Արցախի Հանրապետության ՄԻՊ Գեղամ Ստեփանյանը:

«Դա պարզապես չի կարող պատահել։ Ճնշող քարոզչություն է իրականացվում պետական մակարդակով, բայց դա չի վերացնում մարդկանց ներսում նստած Արցախի նկատմամբ պահանջատիրությունը»,- ասել է Ստեփանյանը։

Արցախի ՄԻՊ-ը շեշտում է՝ Արցախ վերադարձի ձգտումը չպետք է մնա միայն որպես անհատական երազանք․ այն պետք է դառնա համազգային օրակարգ. «Այդ հույսով արցախցիները չպետք է մենակ մնան։ Դա պետք է դառնա համայն հայության հարցը, հատկապես սփյուռքի երիտասարդության համար, որը պետք է հավատարիմ մնա Արցախ վերադառնալու գաղափարին»։

Ստեփանյանը նաև բարձր է գնահատել Բելգիայի խորհրդարանի ընդունած բանաձևը, որով պահանջվում է ապահովել հայերի անվտանգ վերադարձը Արցախ՝ միջազգային վերահսկողության ներքո։

«Շատ կարևոր է, որ բանաձևում ընդգծվում է վերադարձի իրավունքը։ Սա նաև աջակցություն է Շվեյցարիայում գործող ԼՂ խաղաղության նախաձեռնությանը։ Մենք պետք է շարունակենք պայքարել այս ուղղությամբ։ Փոխելու բան չկա՝ միայն պետք է հուսավառել մարդկանց, որ վերադարձը հնարավոր է։ Ես իմ շրջապատում չեմ տեսել մարդկանց, ովքեր ամբողջությամբ հրաժարվել են Արցախից։ Մտքի ծայրում միշտ կա հույս, որ Արցախը վերադարձվելու է հային»։
