Ոստիկանությունը փնտրում է մի մարդու, որը ուրբաթ երեկոյան ԱՄՆ-ի Վաշինգտոն նահանգում հրշեջ մեքենա է առևանգել՝ իր հետևից թողնելով վնասվածքների և ջարդված մեքենաների հետքեր, հայտնում է NBC News-ը։
Հրշեջները մեքենայի կորուստը հայտնաբերել են տեղական ժամանակով մոտավորապես ժամը 23:00-ին, երբ 911 ծառայություն առաջին զանգն է ստացվել մոտակայքում տեղի ունեցած ճանապարհատրանսպորտային պատահարի մասին, հայտնում է հրշեջ ծառայությունը։ Ականատեսները պատմել են, որ հրշեջ մեքենան «մեծ արագությամբ բախվել է երկու կայանված մեքենայի և հեռացել դեպքի վայրից»։
Էվերետի ոստիկանության բաժանմունքը սկսել է մեկնել դեպքի վայրեր, որոնք ներառում էին առնվազն վեց վայր, որտեղ, ըստ հրշեջ ծառայության տվյալների, վնասվել են կայանված մեքենաներ, ծառեր, ճանապարհային նշաններ և խոտածածկ։ Այդ վայրերից և ոչ մեկում տուժածների մասին հաղորդումներ չեն եղել։
Առևանգված հրշեջ մեքենան՝ 2018 թվականի արտադրության Pierce Enforcer պոմպը, որը կշռում է մոտ 35 000 ֆունտ, ստացել է «զգալի վնաս» և առգրավվել է որպես իրեղեն ապացույց, հայտնել են հրշեջ ծառայությունում։
