ԱՄՆ առևտրի նախարար Հովարդ Լաթնիկը կիրակի օրը հայտարարել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն, ինչպես և նախկինում, մտադիր է 10% բազային սակագին սահմանել փոքր երկրների համար՝ չնայած դրա հնարավոր բարձրացման վերաբերյալ վերջին ենթադրություններին։
Սա թեթևացման փոքր նշան է շուկայի համար, որը լարված հետևում էր, թե ինչպես է նախագահ Թրամփը վերջին օրերին բազմիցս հայտարարում, որ բազային դրույքաչափերը կարող են բարձրացվել մինչև 15% կամ նույնիսկ 20%։ Հիշեցնենք, որ այս ամսվա սկզբին Թրամփը նամակներ էր ուղարկել տասնյակ երկրների՝ միակողմանիորեն սակագնային դրույքաչափեր սահմանելով օգոստոսի 1-ից։
Առաջիկա օրերին սպասվում են ևս հարյուրավոր նույնանման նամակներ։ Առայժմ այդ երկրներից միայն մեկը՝ Ինդոնեզիան, է անվանական գործարք կնքել նամակում նշվածից ավելի շահավետ սակագնով, թեև պարզ չէ, թե արդյոք այդ պայմանավորվածությունը մոտ է ավարտին։
Ըստ Յեյլի բյուջետային լաբորատորիայի գնահատականների, ամերիկացիները, հաշվի առնելով օգոստոսի 1-ի նամակների ազդեցությունը, այժմ բախվում են 1910 թվականից ի վեր ամենաբարձր սակագնային դրույքաչափին, որի միջին արժեքն այս տարի կկազմի 2800 դոլար մեկ ընտանիքի համար։
«Դուք պետք է ելնեք նրանից, որ փոքր երկրների, Լատինական Ամերիկայի, Կարիբյան ավազանի երկրների, Աֆրիկայի շատ երկրների համար բազային սակագինը կկազմի 10%»,- կիրակի օրը CBS News-ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է Լաթնիկը։
«Ավելի խոշոր տնտեսությունները կա՛մ կբացվեն, կա՛մ արդարացի սակագներ կվճարեն Ամերիկային»,- ասել է նա։
Լաթնիկն ասել է, որ օգոստոսի 1-ը խիստ վերջնաժամկետ է, և որ ոչ մի երկիր չի պատրաստվում ամբողջությամբ «չեղարկել» սակագները։
«10%-ն, անկասկած, կմնա։ Շատ երկրներ ավելին կվճարեն»,- ասել է նա։
Ուշագրավ է, որ կիրակի առավոտյան CBS հեռուստաալիքը նոր հարցում է հրապարակել, ըստ որի հարցվածների 60%-ը դեմ է սակագներին, իսկ 61%-ը կարծում է, որ վարչակազմը չափազանց մեծ ուշադրություն է դարձնում սակագներին։ Լաթնիկը հերքել է այս եզրակացությունը։
«Նրանց դուր կգան այն գործարքները, որոնք կնքում ենք նախագահ Թրամփի հետ։ Դրանք նրանց պարզապես դուր կգան»,- ասել է նա։
Նա նաև հերքել է ցանկացած մտավախություն, թե սակագները կհանգեցնեն գների աճի։
«Կարծում եմ՝ կտեսնեք, որ գնաճը կմնա նույն մակարդակի վրա»,- ասել է ԱՄՆ առևտրի նախարարը։
Վերջնաժամկետի ավարտին մնացել է 12 օր, և մի շարք երկրներ ու դաշինքներ, ինչպիսիք են Ճապոնիան, Հարավային Կորեան և Եվրամիությունը, ակտիվորեն բանակցում են ԱՄՆ պաշտոնյաների հետ դրույքաչափերի իջեցման շուրջ։
