Ադրբեջանական կողմը կարծում է, որ Աբու Դաբիում կայացած հանդիպումը տեղի է ունեցել կառուցողական հիմունքներով և գնահատվում է որպես այդպիսին։
Այս մասին Շուշիի III գլոբալ մեդիա ֆորումում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում հայտարարել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահի օգնական - նախագահի աշխատակազմի արտաքին քաղաքականության վարչության պետ Հիքմեթ Հաջիևը։
«Այս հանդիպման մեկ այլ բնորոշ առանձնահատկությունն այն էր, որ այն անցկացվեց առանց միջնորդների և երրորդ կողմերի մասնակցության։ Սա ցույց է տալիս, որ Ադրբեջանի նախաձեռնությամբ խաղաղության գործընթացն ամբողջությամբ տեղի է ունենում երկկողմ բանակցությունների տեսքով։ Վերջին երկու տարիների ընթացքում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև բանակցություններ են տարվել հենց այս հարթությունում։ Այս երկկողմ հարթությունում հաջողություններ են գրանցվել խաղաղության օրակարգի առաջխաղացման գործում», - նշել է Հիքմեթ Հաջիևը։
