Չնայած բարենպաստ տնտեսական իրավիճակին՝ Հայաստանով միջանցքի նախագծի շուրջ զգալի ռիսկեր են պահպանվում։ Դիտորդները բանակցությունների լճացման հավանականությունը գնահատում են 60%, ինչը կարող է 12-18 ամսով հետաձգել նախագծի իրականացումը։ Այս մասին գրում է Forbes-ը։

«Հայաստանը կտրականապես հերքում է վարձակալության կամ տարածքային վերահսկողության փոխանցման վերաբերյալ որևէ հարցի քննարկումը։ Կանադայի հետախուզության և անվտանգության ծառայության (CSIS) վերլուծությունը հաջողության հավանականությունը գնահատում է ընդամենը 40-50%՝ նույնիսկ ՄԱԿ-ի երաշխիքների առկայության դեպքում, քանի որ Հայաստանը կարող է վետո դնել նախագծի վրա՝ ինքնիշխանության դեմ ենթադրյալ ոտնձգության պատճառով։

Նախաձեռնությունը ոչ թե պարզապես ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացման նախագիծ է, այլ ամերիկյան դիվանագիտական ստեղծարարության ավելի լայնածավալ փորձություն՝ գնալով բազմաբևեռ դարձող աշխարհի պայմաններում։ Հաջողությունը կվկայի Վաշինգտոնի՝ մրցակիցների ազդեցությանը հակազդող և միևնույն ժամանակ իրական տնտեսական շահերին ծառայող լուծումներ գտնելու կարողության մասին։ Անհաջողությունը կարող է վկայել վիճելի տարածաշրջաններում իրավիճակի վրա ազդելու ԱՄՆ-ի կարողության թուլացման մասին։

Եվրոպացի դաշնակիցների համար այս միջանցքը ճանապարհ է բացում էներգետիկայի իրական դիվերսիֆիկացման համար։ Մինչև 2030 թվականը ԵՄ-ում էներգիայի խնայողությունը կարող է հասնել 20-30 միլիարդ դոլարի, ինչը թույլ կտա անցում կատարել զրոյական արտանետումների և միևնույն ժամանակ նվազեցնել կախվածությունն ավտորիտար մատակարարներից։

Նախագիծը նաև կստուգի՝ արդյոք տնտեսական խթանները կարող են հաղթահարել պատմական վիրավորանքները։ ԵՄ զարգացման հիմնադրամների 2,5 մլրդ դոլարին Հայաստանի հնարավոր հասանելիությունը փոխզիջման հզոր խթաններ է ստեղծում, բայց միայն ինքնիշխանության հարցերը պատշաճ կերպով հաշվի առնելու պայմանով։

Մինչև 2027 թվականը նախագծի հաջող իրականացումը կարող է ապահովել տարեկան 20-50 մլրդ դոլարի առևտրային հոսք՝ Միջին միջանցքի թողունակության ընդլայնման շնորհիվ։ Համաշխարհային բանկը պոտենցիալ բեռնատարողությունը գնահատում է 11 մլն տոննա, ինչը արմատապես կփոխի եվրասիական լոգիստիկան։ Սակայն այս օգուտը կախված է Հայաստանի զգայուն հարցերը հաշվի առնելու և միջազգային աջակցությունը պահպանելու կարողությունից»,- նշում է պարբերականը։
