Air India ավիաընկերությունը երեքշաբթի հայտարարել է, որ մասամբ կվերականգնի իր միջազգային չվերթների չվացուցակը, որը կրճատվել էր հունիսի 12-ին AI171 չվերթի ինքնաթիռի վթարից հետո, հաղորդում է Reuters-ը։
Վերականգնողական աշխատանքների շրջանակում Air India-ն օգոստոսի 1-ից սեպտեմբերի 30-ը կվերսկսի Ահմադաբադի և Լոնդոնի Հիթրոու օդանավակայանների միջև շաբաթական երեք անգամ չվերթները՝ փոխարինելով Ահմադաբադի և Լոնդոնի Գատվիկ օդանավակայանների միջև շաբաթական հինգ անգամ չվերթները։
Հիշեցնենք, որ հունիսի առաջին կեսին Air India ավիաընկերության Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner ինքնաթիռը, որը Գատվիկից թռչում էր դեպի Հնդկաստան և որի մեջ գտնվում էին 242 մարդ, որոնց թվում՝ անձնակազմի անդամներ, վթարի ենթարկվեց թռիչքից մի քանի րոպե անց և բռնկվեց։
Ինքնաթիռի վթարի հետևանքով զոհվել է ավելի քան 290 մարդ։ Հրաշքով, ողջ մնաց միայն մեկ մարդ։
