Թուրքիայի տարածքի 88%-ը գտնվում է անապատացման վտանգի տակ

Միավորված ազգերի կազմակերպությունը (ՄԱԿ) հրապարակել է «Աշխարհի երաշտի օջախներ 2023-2025թթ» զեկույցը։ Այս մասին գրում է ermenihaber.am-ը:
Զեկույցում ընդգրկված է նաև Թուրքիան։ Նշվում է, որ մինչև 2030-ը Թուրքիան կլինի ջրային ռեսուրսներով աղքատ երկրներից մեկը։ Միջերկրածովյան ավազանը, որին հարում է նաև Թուրքիան, կլիմայական փոխոխություններից ամենաշատ տուժած տարածքներից մեկն է։
Զեկույցում նշվել է, որ Թուրքիայի տարածքի 88%-ը գտնվում է անապատացման վտանգի տակ։ Անդրադառնալով տեղումների քանակին՝ նշվում է, որ կան կանխատեսումներ, ըստ որոնց, 21-րդ դարի վերջին տեղումների քանակը կնվազի 30%-ով։
Անդրադառնալով ջրային պաշարներով աղքատ և հարուստ երկրներին՝ տեղեկացվում է, որ ջրային պաշարներով հարուստ երկրները մեկ շնչի հաշվով ունեն 10.000 խմ քաղցրահամ ջուր, մինչդեռ Թուրքիայում այս ցուցանիշը կազմում է մոտ 1.350 խմ.։
Կանխատեսվում է, որ մինչև 2030-ը մեկ շնչի հաշվով ջրի պակասը կնվազի մինչև 1000 խմ ու եթե դա տեղի ունենա, Թուրքիան կդառնա «ջրային աղքատ» երկրներից մեկը։ Այդժամ Թուրքիայի բնակչության կեսը և գյուղատնտեսական հողերի 80%-ը սակավաջրության խնդիր կունենան։
