Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ուրսուլա ֆոն դեր Լայենը կիրակի օրը հայտարարել է, որ ԵՄ-ն կերկարաձգի ԱՄՆ սակագների նկատմամբ հակաքայլերի կասեցումը մինչև օգոստոսի սկիզբ, քանի որ ձգտում է Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ առևտրի շուրջ համաձայնեցված լուծման հասնել, հաղորդում է Reuters-ը։

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը շաբաթ օրը սպառնացել է օգոստոսի 1-ից 30-տոկոսանոց սակագին սահմանել Եվրամիությունից ներմուծվող ապրանքների վրա՝ ճյուղային մաքսատուրքերից զատ, չնայած ամիսներ տևած լարված բանակցություններին։ 

Հայտարարելով պատասխան միջոցների կասեցման երկարաձգման մասին՝ ֆոն դեր Լայենը լրագրողներին հայտնել է, որ «դաշինքը կշարունակի հետագա հակաքայլերի նախապատրաստումը, որպեսզի մենք լիովին պատրաստ լինենք»։ 

Ապրիլին 90 օրով կասեցվել էր պողպատի և ալյումինի վրա ամերիկյան սակագների դեմ պատասխան հակաքայլերի առաջին փաթեթի գործողությունը, որոնք կարող են կազմել 21 միլիարդ եվրո (24,6 միլիարդ դոլար) ԱՄՆ-ից ներկրվող ապրանքների համար, որպեսզի բանակցությունների համար ժամանակ տրվի։ Կասեցման ժամկետը պետք է լրանար երկուշաբթի օրը։

Երկրորդ փաթեթը մշակման փուլում է մայիսից և ուղղված կլինի 72 միլիարդ եվրո արժողությամբ ամերիկյան ապրանքների գնմանը, սակայն այդ միջոցները դեռ չեն հրապարակվել, և վերջնական ցուցակը պահանջում է անդամ պետությունների հավանությունը։

Ֆոն դեր Լայենը հավելել է, որ հարկադրանքի դեմ պայքարի ԵՄ գործիքի կիրառման հարցը դեռ չի քննարկվել։ 

«(Հարկադրանքի դեմ պայքարի) գործիքը ստեղծված է արտակարգ իրավիճակների համար, մենք դեռ պատրաստ չենք դրան», - ասել է նա։

Այս փաստաթուղթը թույլ է տալիս դաշինքին պատասխան միջոցներ ձեռնարկել երրորդ երկրների դեմ, որոնք տնտեսական ճնշում են գործադրում ԵՄ անդամների վրա՝ նրանց քաղաքականությունը փոխելու նպատակով։ Հնարավոր պատասխան քայլերը կարող են ներառել ապրանքների և ծառայությունների մուտքի սահմանափակումը ԵՄ շուկաներ և այլ տնտեսական միջոցառումներ, որոնք կապված են այնպիսի ոլորտների հետ, ինչպիսիք են ուղղակի օտարերկրյա ներդրումները, ֆինանսական շուկաները և արտահանման վերահսկողությունը։
